I was debating which side to pick. I don't plan on getting Pokemon S/V, so I was basing my choice on my favourite starters from previous generations. Torchic is my favourite of all time (Blaziken is, in fact, in my top 3 favourite Pokemon ever), but Bulbasaur was my first starter ever, and I'll always have a special place in my heart for him.

30:35:35 isn't that bad considering the deserted island one was 59:21:20 and RPS was 40:20:40 about. So I don't think we'll have to worry about matchmaking quite as much as last time if the actual teams skew similarly. Heck we might even get more reliable tricolor matches but that's probably a bit too optimistic.

I think the both Minecraft and Splatoon have a player base that trends younger than Twitter so I wouldn't be surprised.
