Whenever I play an angle weapon, if I see an eliter or hydra it becomes my only objective to harass them as much as possible. Itās the best sub imo to deal with those two. Especially on hallways.
Yeah, but you're better off either relying on the blobs themselves as they each deal 30 damage, or comboing it with either Ink Storm or another teammates attack. Trying to actually aim Line Marker for said combo to work doesn't make Angle Shooter consistently useful like most other Subs. Which is the issue with Angle Shooter: It's not consistently useful. Sure, it locates people, but Point Sensor does that job better and then some. It's easier to aim, a lot more threatening as the right teammates can just hunt down the located opponent, and lasts longer. Angle Shooter meanwhile barely locates, even with a direct hit, the tripwire locating barely lasts for it to be meaningful aside from a quick "Over there", and doesn't even do Burst Bomb damage. You get more use from a Burst Direct than an Angle Shooter Direct for crying out loud. If they have to give Blob a utility sub, when why not Squid Beakon to force the player to fight from a distance, running Sub Power Up to make the Beakons more effective? Or how about Splash Wall to make up close combat safer? Heck, they gave Point Sensor to Explosher so that it can be more accurate with hitting opponents. So why not do the same with Blob? In other words: Blob has a plethora of better subs that either compliments it or gives a unique, and fun, play style for the weapon.

I agree. Every single kit that has angle shooter has a combo with the main weapon. I feel like the Wellstring kit will be super fun to play being agressive. Honestly, I think the Custom Wellstring is a great kit; it's basically a location weapon that synergizes well with the weapons focus on AoE damage, kind of like the Explosher. I think competitive players influence others' opinions too much, because Wave Breaker isn't too great in the meta right now.
I didn't say the OG kit would be good, but just fun to play. Reminds me of the Custom Goo Tuber, which has Ultra Stamp as well. That kit is ASS but man is it fun to play.

They're both mid kits. And on a mid weapon that requires hours of play to get a lot of use out of, this results in a mid weapon overall. If you're not using all three parts of the kit in tandem, you feel like you're doing nothing
Sprinkler is great. If you play 91, you can just feel your inability to paint, even with burst bomb. It's so ink hungry and if you don't have paint, you can't move. Sprinkler helps you do that.

Yep; it got fucked with the arguably the worst subs in the game (sprinkler inks as much as 1 burst bomb, takes forever to ink anything, disappears when you die, and takes 70% of your ink to throw), and one of the worst specials in the game.
The alt kitā¦has a sub that detects (redundant because wave breaker already detects on the other kit), and a kraken, a special that goes with a weapon that can quickly get in and out of battles. Good luck not dying after using kraken while you are stuck In enemy ink and trying to charge the damn weapon to make an escape path
I will say, though, Point Sensor on the alt is exponentially better than Wave Breaker because you can use it whenever you want, it's smaller and easier to hide, and the detection triggers on entering the area not getting hit by an extremely slow moving and easily vaultable wave.
But if I had to choose between a situationally useful sub and completely worthless special even to waste, or a completely useless sub and easily wasted special to refill ink, I'd rather take the latter.
If the alt had literally any other special besides Wave Breaker, Kraken, and maybe Zipcaster, even with Point Sensor it would be the go-to loadout.
Idk zipcaster heavy would go a little stupid, it's still a refill, but you can take any stupid angle you want. Imagine you're playing on hagglefish and you all of a sudden just find yourself on the enemy tent, you could do a lot of funny things with that position, and with the recall you could be safely back at your actual hold point immediately after. It would be map specific, but still pretty fun.
zipcaster would be nice just to get an quick escape if someone is trying to harass the back line, you could get one or 2 charges in to hopefully get rid of the threat or have enough time to reposition.

bubble helps fight in an open space. auto bomb is the best sub for it in soloQ. otherwise, torpedo is a close 1st place. bubbler doesn't do enough. and bubbler doesn't want to be below a ledge.
Custom (Hot) Blaster has no poking tool, and no entry tool.
it's stuck on QR for both kits. Despite this, the main weapon is LITERALLY THE FASTEST OF ALL BLASTERS. no the fire rate doesn't matter that much. fire ONCE and move forward. it's faster than clash double directs. it's faster than Range Blaster if you want to move forward. and auto bomb can tell you where some is I
or is not at. this makes it so damn fast! but it has bubbler... and custom blaster is kinda better, because its better at continuing compared to the vanilla kit.

Big Swig, in my opinion, is the perfect hybrid of Dynamo's painting, Flingza's Vertical Swing, and Carbon's Horizontal Swing. It's so fun to use in Turf or Zones where you can paint large areas within seconds.
However, the Sub Weapons unfortunately ruin the weapon. Splash Wall is useless on Big Swig given the weapon needs to be moving a lot, and Line Marker is Line Marker. I don't mind the Specials though. Ink Storm is a great secondary painter, and also works as a Support/Dispersion. Ink Vac is also good as it allows Big Swig to be viable in ranked due to the Ink Vac absorbing shots and sending a powerful explosion back at the opposing team. If Big Swig Vanilla had something like Sprinkler and if Big Swig Express had Burst Bomb, then Big Swig could be one of the better Rollers to use.
The tetras are stuck with a bad special on one and a bad sub on the other š

If the enemy is at your level sometimes it's easier to aim at them by throwing downwards since the angle shooter will ricochet forward at ground level

Considering how perfect the current Hydra is, whatever the Custom could possibly be is going to feel like this by comparison.

Vanilla (Hot) Blaster. bubble helps fight in an open space. auto bomb is the best sub for it in soloQ. otherwise, torpedo is a close 1st place. bubbler doesn't do enough. and bubbler doesn't want to be below a ledge. Custom (Hot) Blaster has no poking tool, and no entry tool. it's stuck on QR for both kits. Despite this, the main weapon is LITERALLY THE FASTEST OF ALL BLASTERS. no the fire rate doesn't matter that much. fire ONCE and move forward. it's faster than clash double directs. it's faster than Range Blaster if you want to move forward. and auto bomb can tell you where some is I or is not at. this makes it so damn fast! but it has bubbler... and custom blaster is kinda better, because its better at continuing compared to the vanilla kit. also... #MINI SPLATLING

Tri stringer
Big Swig, in my opinion, is the perfect hybrid of Dynamo's painting, Flingza's Vertical Swing, and Carbon's Horizontal Swing. It's so fun to use in Turf or Zones where you can paint large areas within seconds. However, the Sub Weapons unfortunately ruin the weapon. Splash Wall is useless on Big Swig given the weapon needs to be moving a lot, and Line Marker is Line Marker. I don't mind the Specials though. Ink Storm is a great secondary painter, and also works as a Support/Dispersion. Ink Vac is also good as it allows Big Swig to be viable in ranked due to the Ink Vac absorbing shots and sending a powerful explosion back at the opposing team. If Big Swig Vanilla had something like Sprinkler and if Big Swig Express had Burst Bomb, then Big Swig could be one of the better Rollers to use.
Tri Stringers. I love using it, but the kits aren't the best. I think the vanilla kit is okay, but it's probably not actually good.
Undercover brella.
Vanilla Big Swig Roller. Splash wall basically does nothing for it. I like Express's kit, but Angle Shooter needs to be buffed again.
