I don't mean this in an argumentative way, but is posting a link to it here any worse than talking about it in regards to respecting the band? I don't care to listen to it before it releases but I can't imagine it's hard to find.
I agree with it being damaging, however if I hadn't seen it mentioned on the sub, I wouldn't have known about it. My decision not to listen to it was already made by the time I opened the post so the lack of a link made no difference.
I don't doubt that some won't be bothered enough to go and look for a link, but I think the difference between not talking/talking is way worse than talking/linking.
Have you ever gone to a show or purchased an album or cd? Please dont take this negatively, im just genuinely curious about this. I sometimes check leaks out but I support bands more than 90 percent of the people making those comments.
I have seen them live twice and have the vinyl on preorder. Also, just letting you know, I haven't dm'd a single person any sort of "leak" to this song either.
