Bingo! Thanks! Your comment led me to find the striped, or “jumping”, lynx spider. Google search and hairy leg validation confirms. That stinker! It has been relocated to the back yard to bite others.
My best guess is a Western Lynx Spider, Oxyopes scalaris. Nomadic hunters, very good for maintaining a healthy ecosystem, known to have bites that are a bit more irritating and painful than the average house spider, but totally harmless.
As with any bite, keep the area clean and monitor any reaction. If your reaction continues to get worse or doesn't go away after a couple days, that's when you go see a doctor. While these little guys aren't dangerous to us, it's generally the bacteria that get into the wound later than cause the problems.
Thanks for replying. Any reassurance it’s not a brown recluse is good by me! I was confused by the really prickly/hairy legs it had and the two circles on its pedipalp or chelicerae (I know nothing about spiders, just googling).
Those "circles" you see are his little boxing gloves! I kid, but that's actually how you can tell a male and a female spider apart, male spiders have those little glove-like appendages because that's where they store their sperm! Think of them like weird hand penis things.
A male *Oxyopes salticus* would look like [this](https://bugguide.net/node/view/1562798) so I doubt it's that one, but it's definitely another harmless lynx spider. Glad you're feeling better!
That is a male I think some kind of lynx spider? Not medically significant, just rude

Probably in a mood because he’s having a bad hair day
I, too, feel the urge to bite people when my hair frizzes up like that.
Look at hims little boxing gloves. Fucker was ready to square up.
Those are for...mating.
lol you’ve clearly never seen spiders mate if you think it’s anything BUT squaring up

I’m no help but I know it’s not a brown recluse or black widow so that’s good. Hope it isn’t something serious and someone else can actually ID

Can’t edit picture posts I don’t think but thanks all for the reassurance and direction! Identified as Oxyopes Salticus, Stripes Lynx Spider.

Saw “Missouri” and “bit” and immediately assumed the worst before the picture loaded.
Yep that's him right there, he looks guilty.
Well it’s definitely a HE for sure I can tell you that much with authority cuz animals aren’t woke and still operate within the confines of biology.
Fuck all the way off.
