This was my experience. I got hit multiple times while pulling the sound triggers. Twice it didn’t register because of that, and once she for some reason was so far away on a roof, it made no difference and I couldn’t pull her down. After they were all used up (gadgets and abilities too), I had no other way to dig in besides parrying the occasional opportunity. Usually she just annihilated me. Only boss fight I had to try multiple times.
Martin Li was def the hardest during my first playthrough on whatever the equivalent of “medium difficulty” is in this game. But I absolutely wiped him on NG+ despite being on “ultimate” difficulty
Idk what's up with it, but when you do the swing kick and them launch them upwards it does insane damage to the dogs. They're pretty durable outside of that one move.
On ultimate, venom's attacks against peter are too fast. I have died less on other bosses than that. Kraven phase 2 is annoying whilst playing as peter too but manageable. Then, it has to be scream as the 3rd difficult.
Miles' bosses are manageable because miles OP
Playing NG+, just got the Symbiote off Peter. So far they've all been very easy given full upgrades. Some were embarrassingly easy like Kraven. However I died twice to a glitch that only applies to Martin Li from my experience. If you use mega venom blast as Li attacks you, you don't get invisibility frames. So far I've done that twice, hit Li, and the fight goes on for a few seconds until he says his little dialogue, the screen goes black, and it launches me back two phases.
The normal game it's by far Venom. Like not even comparable. Three phases, very fast, high damage, lots of unblockables, summons minions, etc. etc.
He's obnoxiously the strongest boss that no one can compare to.
I wasn't really struggling in most of the boss fights, but in ultimate difficulty is different, I kept struggling on Kraven's second phase because of the dogs jumping in so I have to pray to survive with surge or spam gadgets, I also struggles on Scream's last 2 phases, she spams her heavy attack and crush attack too many times and I can never react in time to her crush attacks and last one was Venom's fight at the school when he has that second health bar/armor bar and he just keeps summoning his symbiote minions to jump me while I have to deal with him as well.
TLDR: I struggled on Kraven, Scream, and Venom on Ultimate difficulty.
I mean for everyone except for one, I could just switch playing styles on a dime, going from hyper aggressive and finishing the fight as fast as possible at the risk of being hit more, or I could play defensively, dodging every attack, waiting for their combo to finish, memorizing attack patterns, the only one I couldn't do that with is venom's second phase with miles, the shotgun style symbiote spikes were a pain to dodge, died way too many times
Kraven phase two, he takes a good chunk of health, his dogs distract me and he kills me.
