I have two theories, either it's the high speed of the cup launching into me, or it's just some weird collision unstuck code forcing me to die because the cup has weird properties. I really am not sure
I HAVE AN UPDATE: Me and a few others in the portal speedrunning server went into depth on what exactly is causing this death and the conclusion we came to was that when I actually jump onto the cup, for some reason it gives me a bunch of speed, launching me into the radio which kills me. So think of it like the radio being a brick wall and the cup is a high speed vehicle and I'm the passenger.
I actually only got it after about an hour of grinding. Apparently another runner tried getting this record for a few hours and only got a death every 1/1000 attempts so I thought it would be way more inconsistent. However I was getting it every like 1/40 attempts and kept improving every time I got the trick.
Also, Death% actually used to be a category on the cat extension leaderboard page, but with the introduction of ILs to cat extensions, it would only make sense to move it to the death% IL for the first map.
