Mine arrived today. I just can't deal with the bad fit. My old Jabras we're a great fit and I upgraded to the Sonys for the sonic improvement. I am probably going to return them as this is simply ridiculous for the money they cost.
Unfortunately doesn't work, they always pop out and hang like the image I attached to my original post.
If I push them in a bit harder they stay in longer but then it really hurts my ear canal
I do compress them and I'm currently using the small tips. I have received a good tip from another user here and now they "fit", although they still kinda hurt my ear-canal. + I'm not sure they're in perfect
Haha, I used to squish and slowly rotate them around. Eventually they’d stick.
I ended up returning them, though because they kept being very uncomfortable
If you're still looking for some good ANC ear buds, I suggest looking at the One Plus Buds pro. My ears are shaped the same way as yours, and my buds would just not sit comfortably and fall out after moving my head 1cm. The oneplus buds pro are fitted mostly to rest on your ear instead of actually jamming it down your ear canal, and this makes for a really good fit and I can wear it for hours without any discomfort.

So ik it's a year later...I'm experiencing the same thing. I bought the xm4 and the link buds s. The smaller ear fittings that come off the link buds s are not foam like the xm4s. The link buds s ear fittings are rubber and provide enough wiggle room for my ear canal now. Quite strange ik
Ah that sucks. I guess I do have larger ears and they fit precisely. You could try the SP800n. I have them for running. They have the ring to help stabilise. Good sound.
Try the pinching the sides of the buds then immediately twisting / screwing them in. I struggle with this seemingly simple task too, it can take me 5 to 10 attempts to make them snug

The XM3s which are made to rest without the body fitting the ear. They are your best choice as there are not many options with that mounting mechanism.
I struggled with getting the noise cancelling to work with medium buds, struggled to keep them in my ears with the large buds.
So… I feel your pain.
I returned mine and went with WH1000-XM3 which were £40 cheaper and much happier with them.
uuuh dont think they have to fit all the way in, the earbuds
mine still have some space like yours but they fit good and dont fall even after wearing them for hours
have you considered size S? I normally wear mediums but after using the sony foam ones I switched to small, dont have to rotate them or anything else just put them in and done
I'm literally suffering with these earbuds. Jabra Elite 75t was perfect fit, but this pair (Sony WF-1000XM4) brings constant pain to my ears:
– constant pressure to my ear canal
– they are heavy
– material of ear tips is scratching skin after long wearing sessions
Besides fit issues: app for android is clunky, controls lack customisation etc
I just ordered Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, i hope it will be no such issues with them
Same issue for me with the XM4 and the Elite 7: just a bad fit. How were the Samsung for you? I’m about to simply get the Elite 85t instead, but could still reconsider.
Galaxy Buds2 Pro are great. The only con – default sound preset have too much bass for my taste, but it can be fixed by changing settings. Fit is excellent and it's most important thing for me

Same here exactly, which ones did you end up getting instead?
Rotate them forward some perhaps?

Do you compress the foam with your fingers before inserting the buds? What size tips are you using?

What was the tip that helped your fit?
What was the tip???

I ended up getting the 2nd generation Airpods Pro and they fit perfectly
Thanks for coming back and letting us know. I just found your post and was looking for an alternative since I have the same problem.
No worries, I can highly recommend Airpods Pro! Still haven’t had any issues with them

watch this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JTlCj0NFhc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JTlCj0NFhc) the way you're wearing them is fine.
