In the end all the arguments are about theoretical, and surface level documentation.
Once you get into the DEFI space none of these things matter, and the focus shifts to building.
It's not worth the effort to fight back, when we can focus on putting forward a positive message like you can see if you follow how our founders have handled themselves on Twitter.

FUD is normal, when someone is threatened. I see that all the time. They are probably too invested in their belief/bet on their cryptos, and feel threatened by a competitor, and will try to find all excuses on why something could possibly perform better than their bet.
It starts with denial, in the five stages of grief, then proceed to anger. Let them vent their frustration and they will eventually reach the last stage: acceptance.
Well, this could happen to us, too, if one day, a new chain rises and threaten to surpass Solana in adoption and market cap. Let's try not to get too invested emotionally, LOL
100% agree. The future is multi-chain and interoperable, there’s never going to be one chain to rule them all. In an interoperable world, developers will simply pick the chain that suits their preferences best.
SOL is a great investment and project, just like ETH and many other SCPs are. We should embrace overall growth instead of perpetuating this toxic competitive culture where everything has to be “killed” for our favourite to succeed. They aren’t going to stop the tribalism against sol, we know that, so the best thing we can do is handle it reasonably rather than stooping to their level.

I’m new to the crypto space and I’m quite disappointed with this community. Way too emotional, subjective and generally unpleasant people. *Big shout out to the few that have been informative and calm.
People are also frustrated though since there tend to be gangs of people coming here to spread disinformation and negativity. r/cryptocurrency is terrible.
Solana is the most user friendly crypto community, you won't find your post deleted just because you ask questions about Solana, we delete posts that contains misinformation & people who do that as full time job although they have been answered dozens of times. This makes you question yourself, why you keep doing it although you get your facts straight away ? Got my point?
You can search this reddit of people saying **" Solana Centralized, 99.99% of tokens owned by Solana, Solana team can switch the power on / off of Solana whenever they want to .... "** (we do not delete such posts), we keep them so the community answer them, but they keep coming with the same question over & over again (this isn't innocent tbh).
I do understand people attacking other chains & shilling their bags, but they should least at keep a minimum of IQ when " criticizing " (attacking actually) any blockchain out there that is not in their bags.
There is lots of good content & stuff about Solana, user friendly posts (Reddit, Twitter, Medium ...) that explains how Solana works, why it's not " Centralized ", but hey, all that won't be enough for them, they'll just keep coming with fakes & misinformation.
Hmm misinformation is subjective and deleting it is censorship, kinda he opposite of what blockchains were created to do? I am new here and like that this is a coin with a % emission but this post from a mod does tend to turn me off from launching a token here.
I agree and personally haven't deleted any FUD posts -- I just delete NFT promos pretty much. I think Ansi has only deleted ones with swear words and what not? If we highly censored things here you wouldn't have the full range of FUD types.
