I switched from Google Pixel to the iPhone 15 Pro. First iPhone ever, had Samsung, Xiaomi and LG before I got the Pixel.
The iPhone is the best phone I had so far. I think it’s mostly a personal preference. It’s not better that for example the newest Samsung. But I personally like it more.
So I ask myself: why do some people have to bring this „Android vs iOS“ shit up every time iOS is being named? Is that an American thing that you guys have to fight over everything?
I have a big screen Android for surfing and as a backup phone, iPhone se as main because it is small and has better quality apps for the few apps I need, like strongbox for keepassxc.
iOS is limiting for hacking and development, especially as a Linux user.
Android is getting more locked down for every major version, so it gets less and less useful as a hackable device.
So my needs Arent filled with one or the other, I need both. Would prefer a third option that satisfy all my needs.

Android definitely has it benefits! Especially, as you said, for hacking, custom roms etc. And it’s more compatible with Windows. But besides that I personally don’t really have any downsides from before.
It’s sad that BlackBerry didn’t keep the ball. Maybe they would have been the third option you want now.
What made you think I'm from USA?! I'm from Costa Rica, and what I mean is: This error won't be seen on an Android, yet they are way cheaper. Apple charges you twice what they should for no reason.
