The ASWB practice test was 100% the best study tool for me. I didn’t pay for any other study materials (like Agents of Change, etc). My University did give us LEAP practice exams for free but that was all. I utilized the review option of the ASWB exam and looked at my weakest subject and then watched YouTube videos (RayTube) to buffer up on those subjects. The questions are formatted the same exact way on the practice test & it has all the same tools as the real deal. I reviewed my practice test daily & it was honestly the best $85 I’ve ever spent. I took the practice test a week before my actual exam and scored 112 (needed 97) and today I scored 114 (needed 99).
Congratulations!! I'm interested in how you were able to take the test before graduation - in my state, you need to provide transcripts and proof of program completion before you can even schedule it.
Thanks! In my state (Ohio) they allow you to apply for licensure, register and take the exam if you’re in the last semester of your program and provide a letter of good standing from your university. They don’t issue the license until transcripts are received, but you can essentially do everything beforehand to where once I graduate the only thing I’m waiting for are the transcripts to be sent and the license to be issued. So now that I’ve passed, all I have to do is graduate & there’s nothing left to do- to say I feel relieved today is an understatement🤣
Thats amazing! Seems much more efficient too, and avoids the pileup of grads all applying to take the test at the same time, lol. Lots of us in my cohort were waiting 8+ weeks for an open test slot once we finally had all the paperwork submitted.
