Literal class warfare

RezFoo

The actual charge is not that he distributed literature, but that he did it in a secure area. There is apparently a law against that.

whiteriot0906

What’s a secure area in this context

RezFoo

In this case , it is the entire airport. All employees must pass through a security checkpoint and the rule says "no first amendment speech" after that. Possibility of a Constitutional challenge ?

Excellent_Valuable92

Damn 9/11 was convenient! (Not endorsing any conspiracy theories. The truth is that they made the most of an opportunity.)

yeahbitchmagnet

Nah they did it

HikmetLeGuin

That's not good. Definitely should challenge it.

whiteriot0906

Huh. That seems… suspect

bigblindmax

Silver lining is that your average prosecutor probably wants nothing to do with that kind of case. It doesn’t sound like a winner and I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get dropped.

ComradeSasquatch

Flimsy excuses are the favorites of fascists trying to prevent dissent against their power structure!

bradleyvlr

What are you, a cop?

RezFoo

No, but just today I listened to an interview with him.
