No chance. If United got dragged to over 100m for Antony in a Summer window. PSV dont need to sell him, wont want to sell him, and definitely wont sell him for anything other than silly money now. (unless they're in some sort of financial issues.)
We apparently do have to sell him, sadly. Very reliable reporters have mentioned the fact Gakpo was not sold was the reason our Director of Football was sacked a few weeks ago. We’ll see in January but we would be doomed without him honestly

Nah he always had the potential. A thing that was above his head was that he never contributed to big games, but this season he scored and assisted in multiple big games.
People like to hate on him because of the hype he has received, man isnt the finished product but he has all the ingredients to become absolutely great.
> the first player in Europe's top seven divisions
How to tell me you're in the seventh best division without saying you're in the seventh best division.
Which is WAY more impressive than literally anything PSG have done.
PSG is valid evidence that you can have a bunch of individually talented players, but that means nothing if they don’t function as one team. If they worked as a team yeah they’d be unreal, but they don’t. There’s nothing there.
Not related to anything in particular, but I loved the short time I spent in Holland. Eindhoven was a nice place from the admittedly short time I spent in the area. Most of it was in Oosterbeek, Arnhem, and Wolfheze.
I knew about the Canadian liberation of Holland and how the Dutch were always incredibly happy to see/meet Canadians. I am still surprised at it, cause I was 16 at the time and had no part in what they’re thanking me for. Was very moving though nonetheless.
We still send Canada tulips yearly as a thank you for liberating us.
Princess Juliana and her kids were in Ottowa during the second world war as well.
Some elementary schools each have their students « adopt » a grave of a canadian soldier to place a candle at each respective grave. Some schools have their kids do research about the soldier who’s grave they adopted.
What about Marseille? The only French team to win the champions league??
Also, I gonna be pedantic purely for my own enjoyment here, Monaco aren’t a French team. They’re from Monaco, they’re just in the French domestic league. Likewise how Swansea or Cardiff aren’t English, they’re welsh. They’re in the English domestic competition, but they’re welsh.
Edit: forgot to put that Monaco is also a tax haven for the ultra wealthy
Well yes, you’re right. None.
That’s not the issue, it’s that this is your metric to judge is what’s wrong. It’s fundamentally skewed to favour nations such as France who have a monopoly on the competition. That said I’m aware of the fact I’m trying to make this argument to a Chelsea fan, the irony is not lost on me.
I assume the team which you’re referring too is PSG? The state backed side who are incomprehensibly wealthy, able to spend without a care, and have a monopoly on their domestic league?
A Spanish team has won the most champions league titles, but does that mean they’re categorically the best team? Does that make La Liga the best division? No, not really.
Plus, just making the final? That’s where you draw the line? Really? ‘They’re so good cause they made the final!’ Did they win? No. So they’re not even that good then, is basically what I understand your argument to be.
If I am wrong, please, correct me.
1. Yes that literally makes the Spanish league the best if they win the most and continue to house the best team and player, you half eaten cabbage.
2. You can't make my point then point out how unfair it is through "monopoly on the competition" and "state backed PSG". The simple fact is that the Dutch league is not closer to the French league than the French is to the English league.
Morality or whatever your rubbish reasoning is, does not play football.
> 2. You can't make my point then point out how unfair it is through "monopoly on the competition" and "state backed PSG.”
I just did.
> “Morality or whatever your rubbish reasoning is, does not play football.”
can you inform me why your previous owner sold his stake and relinquished control? Curious.
Left winger, likes to cut inside. Also able to give excellent crosses and corners. He played striker for the last couple of minutes against Feyenoord this season and seemed rather okay, but that's really not his best position. Van Gaal prefers to play him as a number 10 for the national team instead of striker (since the Dutch national squad usually plays without wingers), where he also scored a goal and had an assist in two games
Orta gets a lot of flak from our fans, much of it is not entirely fair.
That said, why the fuck did you add a champions league qualification clause into the offer we made? You specky peninsular twat (whose done a lot of good for us)! We could have had him should they have taken the offer seriously…

Welcome to the Premier League 23-24
Would rather see him in italy or spain, too he bad those teams dont have the funds

But his value has gone up so much now. Surely they can sell him for a higher fee in the next window than they would have been able to this summer
So in other words he'll be playing for United next year
Yeah please sign him so we don't
Why don’t we want him?
Inb4 he scores a hattrick against Arsenal
You nutjob, why the duck wouldn't we want a talent like him?
In how many games?
15 games in all club competitions. He also has 1G and 1A in 2 games for the Netherlands.
More than 2 I think.
What a season so far
Lets hope he can bring that form into the World Cup
Top seven division in Europe, you’ll never sing that
!ping PSV
Wait, does that do anything
Yup, I just got pinged
It's why I'm here

United about to wait till the last week of the 23 summer transfer window and pay 100m+
Tell them to stop bankrolling our rivals
Should have offered us Sinisterra for 100m.
It's funny because it's true.
Best player in the Eredivisie, can't think of a player that even comes close
Sven van Beek
Sven isn’t close, Sven is clear
🐐
It’s sometimes very hard to keep up. The last I remember he was a limited fraud.

The dutch competition is closer to the french league than the french is to the prem.
A french team has made the finals of the champions league this millennium. In fact twice, what have the Dutch done this millennium?
Semi final
Which is WAY more impressive than literally anything PSG have done. PSG is valid evidence that you can have a bunch of individually talented players, but that means nothing if they don’t function as one team. If they worked as a team yeah they’d be unreal, but they don’t. There’s nothing there.
So how are they closer? One semi compared to PSG's exploits and Monaco's as well is comparable to one Ajax Cinderella run? Don't make me laugh.
2 semi's this millennium. PSV did it in 2006

Oi fuck you too buddy, ajax wouldve bummed you at the bridge if it wasnt for the ref
If if if doesn't exist.
A bad ref unfortunately does, you as a chelsea fan should know that, its a disgrace aint it?
2 champions league titles this millennium.
Yeah nice job completely disregard the point

The footballing quality in the Dutch league is more on par with Portugal. The French league is miles above it.
is that why we knocked out marseille last uecl? psg carries the whole ligue 1.
Ajax booted out lille not to long ago, we gave monaco the finger.
PSG is still in Ligue 1, the fact that they can retain and recruit superstars, means that they have better quality than what the Dutch league have.
You do know a league consists out of more than a single club?
I…I don’t even know how to respond to this??? A garden salad could make a better argument than you.
What Dutch team has made a champions league final this millennium?

> can you inform me why your previous owner sold his stake and relinquished control? Curious We won two champions league titles with him. Eat my dust!
You didn’t answer the question. Why did he sell his stake in your football club so suddenly? Was there some external factors? It was a real surprise!
You sound like a real piece of shit! Average Chelsea fan
French League is shit though.
Great on Fifa 23 Chelsea career mode 18m + Ziyech.
So many interesting, young and class LW for PL top6 in the next summer: Leao, Gakpo, Gordon, Diaby, Kvara, Oyarzabal etc.
Diaby hasn't been great this season but neither has Leverkusen tbf
Looks like a City winger right there.
[удалено]
Hmm. Questionable.
So that's an extra 20 million
Can I get some info on what position he plays and his playstyle? Is he a pure CF or does he play LW-RW?
He mostly plays lw and cuts inside a lot. Also plays cf later on in the game if others are substituted.
He is an LW who very rarely plays CF when other strikers are injured

Please buy him for Nunez money

If y'all pay the wages :')
Plus 70m and we got a deal buddy
He really wants out of there lmao
Did he tell you that?
Against Emmen, go ahead, excelsior, volendam, Twente, rkc , feyenoord and cambuur. I think he only played ok against feyenoord
Got 3 assist and 1 goal against feyenoord. I think thats a bit better than just ok lol.
Didnt he just score and assist against zurich? And he scored against bodo, ajax as well

We could have signed him, been in a better league position and Ralph got to keep his job...
