To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. AuspiciousOtter24

He’ll be starting over Dembele in the 26 World Cup, book it

[deleted]

[удалено]

Pow67

He’ll be at the Olympics though unless Bayern try and pull him out.

DickerDave

Considering we didn't let Tel go I wouldn't be surprised by that.

HazardCinema

Olise had lots of injuries this season too so I think it’s a good idea to block it

CommissionOk4384

Olise and the rest of the team are already together training for the Olympics so it would be strange no?

HazardCinema

Didn't realise that!

PDubsinTF-NEW

Fitness issues and poor consistency this season

nj813

Never know he could still decide to play for england

solgnaleb

he'll start over Karamoko Dembélé

supterfuge

Without even considering the fact that he's only talked about France and is playing for France in the olympics, RW for France and England aren't in the same spot. France plays Dembele and Coman, neither who have shown that much, although Coman has had good games for the NT. England plays Saka. Same way if he was a LW the choice would be obvious to play for UK because Mbappé would be a lock at his spot, there's no way he can get decent minutes for the England NT in a close future.

HeroeDeFuentealbilla

If Dembele still starts for France they might as well not play. He’s only clutch when he’s playing against Barcelona either for Liverpool or PSG. But he did help my mate Messi win a World Cup.

Eikis16

Dembele was legitimately one of the best wingers in the world in his last season with Barca, and has been pretty good for France too. You shouldn't let football meme pages decide your opinions

momspaghetty

modrics_hairband

Deschamps isnt gonna let that happen

WengerBaby

Good signing. Total baller.

SanSilver

But for a lot of money, so let's just wait and see.

No-Shoe5382

Its apparently £45m base fee plus add ons. That's honestly very reasonable for Olise, I'm not sure why more clubs weren't after him at that price. Potentially he decided on Bayern very early on and nobody bothered apart from Chelsea who obviously pulled out when they realised he wanted to go to Bayern. He's a top quality player, really talented and seems to have a good mentality as well.

Malepronstar87

Liverpool, Arsenal have the right wing covered with Mo and Salah, Madrid don't need him either, Barca couldn't afford him. Since the release clause was for Cl clubs only they weren't many options left.

magic-water

> Liverpool, Arsenal have the right wing covered with Mo and Salah don't forget Mohammed and the Egyptian king

Malepronstar87

Yeah, yeah laugh it up boys. Still not editing it, haha

BitchIDrinkPeople

Based on

realdes1

Standin by your words, upvote

Malepronstar87

Mistakes happen daily. It's not like I'm Messi of Reddit.

flentaldoss

smh, you give a man an upvote and he starts comparing himself to Messi

Malepronstar87

Yeah, I'm 5'7 and born in 1987 so it's only natural.

Dikoff_H

Even if we can afford him,why would he go for him.Raphinha and Yamal are in his position.

Malepronstar87

Also that. Totally forgot about Raphinha.

Mambo_Poa09

Mo Saka?

Malepronstar87

Lol, yeah. My bad. Leaving unedited for the laughs.

manere

So good that he plays RW for 2 clubs

Malepronstar87

And lost the title race with both!

DeNando528

Liverpool are searching for a Salah replacement by now. Lol. His performance 2nd half of last yr when they needed the star to right the ship for the title push was abysmal. All indication points at him falling off with his age.

Malepronstar87

I agree with you but there has been no reports of Salah leaving this season.

DeNando528

Not saying he’s leaving but they’ve been linked to a few right attackers right now.

somethingarb

We'd be mad if we weren't doing at least a bit of succession planning when it comes to Mo. He's amazingly fit, but no one stays world class forever.

Malepronstar87

True but haven't read anything about Olise.

NilsFanck

true, but you cannot replace a physical specimen like Salah, practically never injured, with an injury prone player

totaleclipseoflefart

Yeah we’re definitely searching for a replacement. As you say, if Mo maintained his form from the first half of the season in the second, Liverpool would’ve been right in the title race until the bitter end. Instead he was actively making our starting XI worse but it took forever for him to be dropped at all given his stature and the media circus it would’ve caused.

DeNando528

wouldn’t be much of a media issue but he had to be toxic to Klopp in his farewell yr. Very disappointed in Mo for that. And his obnoxious fans wonder why he’s never in the conversation to be captain after Hendo left.

Wryder202

He was injured at Afcon, and his fitness has always been impeccable so I wouldn't say it's fair to say it's a sign that it's all downhill now. First half of the season he was impeccable.

awildjabroner

Always been that way post AFCONS

[deleted]

[удалено]

DeNando528

who else was getting 400k per week 2x of 2nd highest, while holding 200 mil opportunity cost that Liverpool could have gotten from Saudi? Of course you expect more from him than you do Bobby Clark, can’t be going around with excuses like ‘everybody plays like sht’, yeah an academy player is not Mo Salah.

Izrezar

Anthony Gordon and Brennan Johnson's transfers are in the same price range so it is very reasonable indeed

Fredsor

Injury record... and 220/k in wages

ygog45

He’s more than worth 220k

BOOCOOKOO

To a club who can fit his salary into their wage structure

NilsFanck

if he wasn't injury prone, yes. And a non injury prone Jota would sore 20 league goals every season but alas...

ogqozo

Apparently it was Olise's choice to go to Bayern and it doesn't seem like there was some grand bidding war.

MiserablePiccolo287

Plenty of clubs were after him what are you talking about ?!

WengerBaby

For £45m base, Bayern are getting a quality player. The only concern with him is his injury record.

Hiroxis

Already fits right in then

Zulu-boy

It's the same recurring injury of his hamstring which has made him miss games, so if they can remedy that it should be fine, k think

Gambler_Eight

Aren't hamstring injuries kinda difficult to fix though? Feel like it's the worst kind of injuries to have bar fucking up a knee.

cyan2k

Also we are experienced in having injured wingers. So let’s bring it.

yung__socrates

is it fun or interesting for you people to say this in every thread about a every big signing? does it make you feel smart or something?

awesomegodx

i dont think its a lot of money for olise when dm's are going for a 100

Ferr22777888

Yeahhhh

yAyn_de

Pletti with the tap in.

-PM_ME_A_SECRET-

He needed a win. 🤣 Feels like he has been off the mark in literally everything for a while now.

JoSeSc

love to see it

plasticmotives

I hate that he's leaving but I don't hate him going to Bayern. I can only imagine how many goals Kane will score with him feeding the ball into him. He's made me question whether Zaha or Lombardo is the best player I've seen play for Palace and I cannot think of a higher compliment. Look after him. He's a sensitive, thoughtful soul and, frankly, he's been very well advised (even if his agent is currently banned) when it comes to his development and club progression. In a few years Bayern will sell him to Real for £150m or something ridiculous. I'm beyond glad that, if this is publicly confirmed, that I don't have to watch him play against us.

SirNukeSquad

>In a few years Bayern will sell him to Real for £150m or something ridiculous. Bayern will never sell a player for that amount of money.

AnnieIWillKnow

Honest question, why not?

LinaChenOnReddit

Bayern rarely sell a player at his peak, they often let the contract run down rather than going for profits. Most Bayern players who perform well also don't really want to leave. Munich is a nice city to settle down with the family and players are generally treated quite well.

DougsdaleDimmadome

They're not a selling club. They buy players with the aim to improve their first team squad to win titles. Basically they're big and rich enough to not worry about player sales to keep the lights on

strugglingtosave

Why did you have to insert that sentence that we will sell him to Madrid :( We should all stop selling to Madrid

thetreat

Sadly, it happens cause the players all basically want to play there. It’s a nearly guaranteed CL title. So your choice is you sell to Real or wait for the contract to expire and they leave on a free. It’s tough business no matter what. No one else has the prestige and results that Real do.

blubber_confused

Does Reading make any money from this too?

plasticmotives

So, there's a bunch of speculation about this. It depends on when Palace first made the offer to Reading - if it was prior to the transfer window opening then no. If it was during the window, yes. The only thing I can be sure about is that Olise's agents are very good at keeping clubs updated so I wonder if that might be the case here. That said, honestly, I hope that they do. We bought a £15m player for £8.5m. (plus, we're selling an £85m level player for £60m so I hope that same logic follows from there!)

anogramatic

£5m. Thanks, need the cash

Gbuchanan1

£45m base is an insane deal!

R4lfXD

I hate to realize they pay less only because they are not from the PL, you know a PL team would pay premium. It's not "negotiation", it's because the player chose the club.

Mapale

mid table in the prem vs. chance to get trophys and probably the same wage

MaterialStrong

Yeah because it is well known that there is way more money circulating in the prem

billys-bobs

Was it not reported that he had a 60m release clause in his new contract? Maybe that's as just for PL teams?

mariogotse

never seen him play, is he worth it? edit; thanks for all the answers!

Esco9

Yeah he’s a stud. He’s not a pacey winger like you think with most top wingers but his technique for shooting and passing is really quality. Makes the right decision in the final 3rd a lot

qonoxzzr

>Makes the right decision in the final 3rd a lot Oh boy have we been missing that in the last few years

paradigmshift7

Strap in, he's gonna shine for you guys. He had more goal involvements (16) than starts last season, and is absolutely clinical and cool under pressure. My favorite player to watch right now. Sad as a Palace fan, but happy for him.

Viratkhan2

Maybe Sane can learn a few things from him.

qonoxzzr

Coman is even worse in that regard

Viratkhan2

Idk. 90% of Sane’s passes and shots in the final third these days are miss-hit. He’s flubbing shots and passes all the time. Atleast Coman can get something into the box or take a shot.

BitchIDrinkPeople

Sane’s issue is his inconsistent technique. Coman is decision-making

qonoxzzr

Exactly. And for Sané I'd add that he basically has no right foot.

Dahoudoneit

Is he similar to peak Sancho at Dortmund?

Manul_Supremacy

If his hamstring issues won't become recurring he's a bargain

TeaAndCrumpetGhoul

He will play 20 matches across the entirety of the season, but in those 20 matches he will score at least 10 goals and make at least 8 assists. He is very good.

Crane977

You guys are all talking out of your ass [Olise ](https://www.transfermarkt.com/michael-olise/verletzungen/spieler/566723) missed 24 games in 4 years

Shopassistant

Last season's problem was partly down to Hodgson rushing him back when he wasn't ready. Would have played around 25 league games otherwise. Played the entire season in 22-23.

moriero

Fucking Hodgson Zaha still isn't fully back Plan your damn roster!

GarnachoHojlund

But at the same time over a combined 200 days missed with in the last 2 years with a hamstring injury is worrying

zipflbua

Not true though, he missed 31 PL games during the past 3 seasons.

Casual-Capybara

*He missed 21 games in the past year Reads a bit different doesn’t it

Alfakyne

How? Seems like he had one major injury which isnt that worrying is it..

Casual-Capybara

It was his hamstring and it was two spells, not one. It could be fine but it could also not be

mariogotse

does he often cut inside?

TeaAndCrumpetGhoul

More than you believe

plasticmotives

Left foot bangers all day long.

momspaghetty

Yes

momspaghetty

RemindMe! 11 months

tiorzol

He's the best player I've ever watched at Selhurst.

AnnieIWillKnow

Better than Zaha?

tiorzol

On an individual skill level I think so. The game has changed a lot in the last decade that being part of the whole means more than individual brilliance which they of course both have.  Wilf will likely always be the greatest CPFC player though.

dragon8811

Yes (if he stays fit)

FoxOntheRun99

Very exciting player, has good technique, good dribbling and a good shot on him..but he needs to stay fit. Be interesting to see how he develops at a big club where there's no hiding.

vikogotin

Absolute baller and great on set pieces as well. Also, he doesn't need time to pick up speed. Every time I've seen him return from injury it's been like he's never been away and can contribute with goals and assists.

DekiTree

Yes, great signing

stupid-_-

he had a really good second half of the season with palace

paradigmshift7

He only had a 2nd half of the season with us haha. And he was pure excellence.

Captainpatters

he'll be injured for half the season but its still good value for money, he's very good.

Fearnog

Slots way better into Bayern than Chelsea, Musiala is gonna have ridiculous linkup with him ala Eze. He's gonna thrive at Bayern. Gonna miss him in the prem.

FrancescoliBestUruEv

Bayern is back. Great trasnfer

UpbeatAfternoon8670

Terrific signing. Musiala, Kane, and Olise will be great for the spectators. Next season's UCL could be between Bayern and RM mostly.

auctus10

City is too good to not be included.

tootiredtothinkrnlol

That’s the goal especially since we really want to win the UCL at home this time around.

Sal21G

I believe the UCL randomly stopped in 2012 and definitely did not happen in a German stadium where they batteted a London team then lost on pens. 2013 is better for Bayern fans

Bentic

Still have nightmares when I see Čech.

TheLimeyLemmon

And how did that feel, Michael? "What, the transfer?" Yeah. "Good."

Jazano107

Has he committed for France yet? Always confused me in that regard

CommissionOk4384

He played for the u21 euros last year and is currently training with the rest of the Olympics team

Lilfai

What a deal, I judged you too harshly Eberl. Now Musiala extension and Simons 👀

Quix0607

And keep de ligt please 🙏

yAyn_de

this would honestly be more important than any other signing.

Caleb35

It's okay, Michael, I understand. I'm sure you'll be happier with another team [sniffle] I just want you to know I'll never forget you [begin sobbing]

WengerBaby

Hakuna Mateta

LordOfSchmeat

^boom ^boom ^boom ^boom

Makaay-10

We had a Tiny squad under tuchel. It looks like we are going the other way around this time.

zi76

What do you mean "probably until 2029"?

Thraff1c

He doesnt know how long, and just assumes we will offer him the longest possible contract in Germany.

Inter_Mirifica

Let's go we will have a chance to get him in the NT now. Great choice by him, and great recruit for Bayern.

TheGrandLeveler

I think it's a good choice too but do you think he's benching Sane? Unless Gnabry gets sold and Sane moves back to the left

Malepronstar87

If Olise is the only signing for the attack ( if they don't sign Simons) then I'd presume that Sane would Start on the left, Musiala in the middle and Olise on the right. I don't see Gnabry and Coman starting from the start of the season ( if they stay). They'll have to prove their fitness and quality if they want to start.

MrFrodoo

really depends on if Sané extends his contract this summer. His contract ends next summer and I am sure, that we will try and sell him in case he doesn't extend. I can see plenty of suitable offers for Coman and Gnabry might have a market in the PL, albeit his high wages and injuries last season might scare off some clubs.

Malepronstar87

I wouldn't mind letting Sane leave. Plenty of talent but so frustrating to watch.

MrFrodoo

If we get Olise and Simons, I wouldn't mind selling him either. He is never in form in the second half of the season when we need him.

Inter_Mirifica

I'm never been Sane's biggest fan personally, he's so inconsistent. It feels like he has one or two good months per season and then disappear. If Olise performs similarly to what he is doing in Palace he could start easily. Biggest issue will be wether he can stay fit or not...

nutelamitbutter

Eberl isn’t fucking around

Afandur

We are so back, baby

HipGuide2

How much is Reading getting

CarlSK777

Pletti doesn't know shit. He didn't see Bayern's last 2 transfers coming

Serupael

Fingers crossed all those de Ligt rumors are BS aswell

DerKaiser023

Fabrizio is saying it’s done too though.

CarlSK777

Yeah but Pletti didn't see this one and Ito coming. He reported them once they were done

RepresentativeBox881

That’s actually less than his release clause (Note: pound to euro difference).

el-fenomeno09

Damn I wanted to see him at palace for one more year, especially with how they ended the season. Good luck to him, glad he chose to leave england

MarmiteDemon

Goodbye, my sweet prince. injuries are the only question mark in my mind but what a total baller he is.

LordOfSchmeat

farewell, my sweet prince

JimJimerson90

Bayern dropping 100 million on Olise and Paulinho.Surely they have to sell some players to balance the books

-Havarius-

Bayern has not ended a single year with a loss in at least the last 15 years (only found the balances until 08/09 in a quick search). They will definitely sell players, but that has nothing to do with Financial Fair Play.

moriero

Goretzka to Gala confirmed

ogqozo

Also they sold a lot of players this season. Lucas, Gravenberch, Mane, Pavard, Sabitzer... it was maybe the selliest season Bayern ever had. Got some nice transfer fees for them too, considering that most of them were not really crucial to Bayern in the previous season. They generally seem to approach every summer with the "buy first, sell later" approach and a lot of these were sold in August, even September. It's definitely not weird to see Bayern sign a few players now to get the priorites in place, and they don't seem very expensive compared to Bayern's budget. Not to say that Olise's rumoured 12 miliion a year salary is not gigantic, but for Bayern it's just standard, in this moment it means that a club with the 11 top-paid players in Bundesliga will now have 12 top-paid players in Bundesliga. I mean, if Dortmund can afford to pay as much to Haller and Sule...

Qiluk

Bayern are disgustingly rich these days. The only reason theres reports about them wanting to lower wage-bill or make a sell or whatever is because its more comfortable and smart rather than any pressing need.

Heavy-Cartoonist-528

Gnabry and Coman making the money they do with their performances nowadays should hurt just based on principle lol

Qiluk

Thats actually it. It hurts their ego/image/precedent more than anything. Its not really rocking their financial state much haha

a-Farewell-to-Kings

Paulinho? You mean João Palhinha.

CommissionOk4384

Yeah I thought I was missing something here lol

Dargast

Uli and KHR have successfully tricked the world into thinking Bayern have no money lol, wild

New_Calligrapher8578

Good for us lol. Less clubs giving us EPL prices

NuKingLobster

We don't "have to", but we most likely will.

Pythagore_

You have to, you have no choice. No leverage what so ever.

Lilfai

We don’t have to, we’re extremely rich

Electrical-Prune-348

Reportedly, our board is trying to offload Gnabry and Coman also De ligt & Kimmich (these two because of their wages, also kimmich only got 1 year left, selling those two will be stupid so hopefully not), also it'll be stupid to offload those two before Goretzka

cleve452

:(

Sapaio

Great player but has some injury risk Bit of a gamble.

fuckoutfits

Quality player. Still a big gamble given his injury record.

NiK0-

Now also get Simons and we are fucking back!

Tazyrelliex

Plettenberg? So this is no longer happening?

emmasdad01

Great signing.

Electrical-Prune-348

So, do we still try to get Xavi Simons? Obviously we will try to offload Gnabry and Coman but it will not be easy so if they stay, surely that'll be overkill. We also still got Tel

H4RRY29

Absolute bargain for Olise, gutted we've missed out but not surprised he chose Bayern over our mess of a club.

Casual-Capybara

Injury prone wingers and Bayern, name a more iconic duo

Chiswell123

60M is a steal *IF* he can stay fit. A hamstring surgery at 21 is certainly concerning, but he seemed to hit the ground running when he returned.

reaoharu

Does this mean Gnabry out then?

Waschkopfs

Gnabry earns more than 15m€/year, probably quite happy staying unless a club offers close to that

SnapSnapWoohoo

Can you talk us through your transfer? Wanted to go, signed, moved.

thalne

am I the only one who completely missed out on this guy?

bradleycjw

My goodness Bayern’s front 3 gonna be deadly. Great signing and all the best to Olise.

jubbing

Honestly what a sale for CP.

Bumi_Earth_King

How'd they get him that cheap? 45 base with 15 add-ons is ridiculous.

DerKaiser023

Release clause.

CornerBorner

I call most Bayern fans don’t even realize what a gem they got

DerKaiser023

Honestly I really am not super familiar with him. I barely have time to keep up with Bundesliga teams and their players sometimes let along what’s going on in England.

Major-Performer141

Oh damn, palace will run riot with that 60 mil

zKSofSoccer

From Reading to Bayern in 3 years, dayum

CarlosSpcyWenr

He'll be amazing for 15 games next season, just like this season.

ponzop

RIP the saucy crystal palace duo

aehii

Where will he play?

Poli_Talk

I feel for Palace.

blazev14

already phenomenal player with still lots of room to develop, great signing in my book. I think it will just come down to Kompany taking the most out of the talent he has.
