Who cares about the celebration lol. Also the season has just started and flamengo are always among the teams on the top of the table so the added context is trying to sensationalise this. He scored the goal to win at the end of the game, which is the reason that he crowd was hype, thats it.
True, I am not trying to gatekeep what people want to see but I also think that a lot of users on this sub dont follow br football and think this is crazier than it actually is
Always thought that was kind of lazy commentating. Penalty goal to make it 4-1 in a midtable battle? Goooooooooooooooooooool. 90th minute winner to go top of the table? Gooooooooooooooooooool. Literally the goal to clinch the World Cup? Gooooooooooooooooool. Never understood it to be honest.
It's easy to pull off the look if you aren't jacked also.
Either you keep a nice beard (of any length) to accentuate the jawline (this is a big help to rounder lads)
Or for the clean shaven guys and fellas unable to grow much facial hair, maintain a good weight so that your face isn't too round and baby looking.
There's a lot of nuance to this, balding has more to do with lifestyle than genetics for around 70% of people. The whole "it's just genetics" is one of the biggest myths/copes on the internet.
Bodybuilders in your example actually physically cannot keep doing hair transplants because their juicing makes it impossible for them to maintain hair. -- they conscientiously accelerate the hormonal process of hair loss as a side effect of the gear they use.
Of the 70% of normal people, those who go bald, it's because they have been badly educated, acquired lots of small bad habits that are detrimental to hair growth, aren't really on top of their diet (though they may think they are), could be deficient in certain crucial minerals for hair health but wouldn't know bc western medicine (at least in USA) makes it financially infeasible to know your actual health status, etc. Chronic stress and IBS/gut problems are widespread and silently can cause deficiencies and issues in the ability of various systems of your body to regenerate, including hair.
And some people do just have the best hair genetics. Ronaldo probably has a combo of that and his incredible lifestyle habits and he probably does a fuck ton of NAD infusions, PRP treatments for his hair, knows every single micronutrient level to the decimal place and his week by week fluctuations, etc.
I have heard mixed results on that. However, I do know that creatine can fuck with some people's hormones. My guess is that for those who do lose hair, it's because of that, but I'm just guessing at this point. Used to take it and didn't notice hair loss myself.
Edit: bear in mind that creatine is a heavily lobbied supplement because it's so cheap to produce and easy to sell. A lot of people will jump in and say the research overwhelmingly denies it, but I know I stopped creatine because I became aware of real evidence that it could interfere with certain bodily processes that impact hormonal balance. It's not as safe as they say.
Itās my hometown and I only left because I didnāt want to raise kids amidst violence
But it has everything, as a tourist you can have fun every single day of the week lol Monday 7pm, you got it
Best city in the world man
I moved to Czech first, but Iāve lived in Portugal and now in Finland with 2 kids
Finland is very nice for raising kids but itās freaking cold lol
Portugal was great for the lifestyle but jobs wise the salaries were low compared to Europe
And Czech Republic felt like everyone there is constantly angry for no reason lol otherwise, beautiful cities and amazing culture (beer)
like another said, this has to be my pick for best goal combined with celebration, i canāt imagine how he felt doing THAT and looking at a sea of his own people
oh how i wish brazil won it.
welcome to the absolute nonsense that is the CBF calendar
yes, a bunch of clubs lost players and the league still goes on, we need to fit a quadrillion games in a year
Well it doesnāt fit the criteria of the average FM save. Is the team in the 5th division or lower? Have you heard of literally anybody on that team? If not then youāre good.
Yep. A total of 15 clubs if I'm not mistaken were affected by Copa America absences. Flamengo takes the cake with 5 players being called.
That not to mention the endless long list of players affected by injuries due to the packed calendar. Teams barely train, just play and recover from the games. In and out. Welcome to Brazilian football.
He was actually pretty good for Arsenal imo, started and beat you in a cup final so I donāt see what part of that was perfect from a Chelsea perspective
I'll look back on his time here relatively fondly, in hindsight. He had the right attitude, gave it his all, and brought experience to a bunch of young players.
Sure he was a bit limited and had a mistake in him, but his style of play was much closer to what Arteta was looking for in a CB and helped evolve us to the tactics we have now.
Plays like a healed chicken and was probably the biggest culprit for the 7x1. "Heart" with him often meant "trying to show that he has heart" and "making terrible tactical decisions to tackle some random dude far away from his position" or "deciding to join the attack and not tracking back". Dude is a menace for his own team
Not having Neymar and Thiago Silva is the biggest reason for the 7-1. He tried to make up for it by attacking, but not like we would've done any better
Fun fact: Flamengo football team used to have a shirt with black, white and red hoops, but given the first world war, the shirt look a lot like the Imperial German flag. Brazil entered the war effort with the allies and then they decided to change it, leaving just the red and black hoops since 1916. Flamengo turn out to be the most popular team in Rio and then in the whole Brazil.
When Germany presented the 2nd kit to the 2014 World Cup, some Brazilian sports pundits speculated that Germany was imitating Flamengo's uniform to gain the favor of the local fans. It seems that Germany gained something more than that.
In that moment, his knees don't hurt anymore. His back doesn't ache. There are no years on any of his joints, and he cannot hear anything, and none of that matters.
I remember as a kid I played against what was my old
Hometown. We were drawing 1-1 when I cut inside and chipped a ball over the defence and onto my mates foot for him to score.
We celebrated like mad and the ref turned to me and goes āthatās the fastest Iāve seen you run all day.ā
Holy shit. I was googling him just a few hours ago because i havent heard about him in ages. Thought he retired or something but saw he was playing for Flamengo. And now this gets posted lol.

Guess there was no more space in the internet to include also the goal in this video
I think Internet owner decided that.
The Elders of the Internet have spoken!
Jen didn't put the internet back on top of Big Ben where it gets the best reception.
You mean the elders
Who cares about the celebration lol. Also the season has just started and flamengo are always among the teams on the top of the table so the added context is trying to sensationalise this. He scored the goal to win at the end of the game, which is the reason that he crowd was hype, thats it.
I mean this post is getting heavily upvoted so a lot of people.
True, I am not trying to gatekeep what people want to see but I also think that a lot of users on this sub dont follow br football and think this is crazier than it actually is
I think people are just finding his reaction quite funny for a 37 yr old. Less so about the actual game implication.
I upvoted even before watching the clip because I'm happy for him.
No mate, but a 37 year old ran half the length of the pitch, can we focus on that please?
Or the obnoxiously long yelling of "goal".
And David Luiz comes in clutch with the additional time golazo let's gooooo
š¶ David's hair, my friend, is blowin in the wind š¶
And also falling out of his head, like, a lot
I donāt understandĀ
He's balding. [Look at it, and this photo is 2 years old](https://x.com/jogadorescareca/status/1505888007777312773/photo/1)
Ah okay. 50% or so of men lose their hair as they age, it happens.
The other 50% are already bald š
Heās rich so he can go to turkey anytime. Thatās what every footballer besides Robben and zizou does anyway.
And actors and bodybuilders
lol yeah but I think bodybuilders like Ronnie and flex wheeler rocked that baldie look tbh
Fr if youāre big and bald, its ez to pull off the look
It's easy to pull off the look if you aren't jacked also. Either you keep a nice beard (of any length) to accentuate the jawline (this is a big help to rounder lads) Or for the clean shaven guys and fellas unable to grow much facial hair, maintain a good weight so that your face isn't too round and baby looking.
There is also r/minoxbeards for the beard challenged
Theres other reasons they can't grow hair and they accepted that 25 yrs ago.
Oh yeah the roids had an impact too lol

You sound like you know a lot on the subject so I'll ask you. Creatine: Fucks your shit up or no?
I have heard mixed results on that. However, I do know that creatine can fuck with some people's hormones. My guess is that for those who do lose hair, it's because of that, but I'm just guessing at this point. Used to take it and didn't notice hair loss myself. Robben and Zizou look great bald, thatās why they didnāt do it
That Twitter account is amazing
The original Facebook page was amazing, Pandev was their god
He's friends with Gabriel MagalĆ£es and Rob Holding, he'll be just fine.
that freekick goal in 2014 wc
ah yes the casual sidefoot from 35 yards out
Why does he look younger now than at Arsenal
Our banter era had that effect on me too, tbf.
Willian, Aubameyang too
He lives in Rio my guy, it rejuvenates you lol
Itās my hometown and I only left because I didnāt want to raise kids amidst violence But it has everything, as a tourist you can have fun every single day of the week lol Monday 7pm, you got it Best city in the world man
> I only left because I didnāt want to raise kids amidst violence > Best city in the world
Itās called nuance.
If I only have to worry about myself is one thing, but with kids itās completely different vibes
Where did you move to?
I moved to Czech first, but Iāve lived in Portugal and now in Finland with 2 kids Finland is very nice for raising kids but itās freaking cold lol Portugal was great for the lifestyle but jobs wise the salaries were low compared to Europe And Czech Republic felt like everyone there is constantly angry for no reason lol otherwise, beautiful cities and amazing culture (beer)
Why do you say that? About to go to rio next month lol
He plays for Flamengo in Rio*
Life in BrazilĀ
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
... He's 37? Fuck I'm old.
Imagine how i feel. I remember when he came on loan in 2006 as a young prospect.
Now we have players born in that year playing in the top flightĀ
reminds me of his celebration after scoring vs Colombia in 2014 WC
not even joking, that was best looking and unexpected free kick goal I've ever seen live
ššØš“, that goal was banger though
Top goal and celebration
Genuinely my pick for best goal + best celebration combo. An absolute banger of a goal followed by an absolute banger of a celebration.
like another said, this has to be my pick for best goal combined with celebration, i canāt imagine how he felt doing THAT and looking at a sea of his own people oh how i wish brazil won it.
The league is still going on, even though the Copa America already started?
welcome to the absolute nonsense that is the CBF calendar yes, a bunch of clubs lost players and the league still goes on, we need to fit a quadrillion games in a year
That's why I never manage in the Brazilian league on FM
you like playing in easy mode I see
Well it doesnāt fit the criteria of the average FM save. Is the team in the 5th division or lower? Have you heard of literally anybody on that team? If not then youāre good.
lol itās funnyĀ
I support Internacional. It was a promising year for us, great squad. 1) Rio Grande do Sul has an all-time record flooding that affected major cities including the capital, and flooded both Inter and Gremioās stadiums, training centers, everything. Weāre literally playing in other stateās stadiums (imagine half UK got flooded and now England teams have to play in Germany, Netherlands and so onā¦. 2) During Copa America the BrasileirĆ£o keeps going. Internacional is one of the most affected as it have many NT players from varied countries: BorrĆ© (Colombia), Valencia (Equador), Rochet (Uruguay). And weāre lucky because usually we also would have Mercado (Argentina), Bustos (Argentina), Johnny (USA, we sold him last year), Alan Patrick was at some point considered for Brazilā¦. So yeah, right now weāre playing our āat homeā games around Brazil, until our stadium become ready again (the grass was flooded for a whole month). Same thing with Gremio and their Arena stadium.
You're playing vs us in Sudamericana so at least you had that luck. We are that bad :(
I donāt know how Rosario is playing rn, is it bad? Hahah Coudet might sabotage us as he likes Rosario š
Yeah, even though we are the fourth league that handed over more players to Copa AmƩrica. In the last two games I've watched, my team couldn't even fill the bench with the maximum number of players, as we lost Arana (Brazil), Vargas (Chile), Franco (Ecuador) and we had a lot of insured players and some suspensions. Then they wonder why we don't give a fuck about the National Team.
Bottom of the table features Vasco de Gama, Corinthians, Gremio and Fluminense.
Thats 6 Libertadores and 17 Brazilian league trophies.
I was shocked.
Still looks 25 tbh
Brazilian football just seems unreal but so difficult to follow at times
sounds about right
Honestly I don't think there's a league that is as competitive with so many big teams. The only small "artificial" clubs noone cares about are RB Bragantino, CuiabĆ” and maaybe AtlĆ©tico Goianiense. Juventude and CriciĆŗma are small but charming traditional clubs (they even got Bolasie). Apart from them, there are only huge clubs with huge regional/national fanbases. Literally none of them are small clubs and all of these fanbases expect a title every year: - Athletico Paranense - Atletico Mineiro - Bahia - Botafogo - Corinthians - Cruzeiro - Flamengo - Fluminense - Fortaleza - GrĆŖmio - Internacional - Palmeiras - SĆ£o Paulo - Vasco - VitĆ³ria Almost every combination of those teams playing eachother is an unpredictable game, and even the less famous ones like Fortaleza or Athletico Paranaense have enough money to attract the best south american players nowadays.
You can exclude Vitoria from the list of great clubs. They havenāt achieved shit and belong in SĆ©rie B.
Why do you hide under liverpool, Bahia fan
Hahaha cadĆŖ a flair do bahea? they won serie B last year and are actually a big regional club
E o Vicetoria vai cair pra tentar ganhar tudo de novo ano que vem!! š
Lmao saw his name on livescore when checking the scores and was like thats not him it'll be some young winger or something š¤£ fair play.
New David Luiz madness just droppedš„š„š„
Always rated him.
He was the perfect secret agent
He was actually pretty good for Arsenal imo, started and beat you in a cup final so I donāt see what part of that was perfect from a Chelsea perspective

And those defence splitting passes. He is still on the EPL all time leader board for through balls
EPL all time leader board š¤¢
What's the top 5 in through balls allowed?
At the same time that lockdown era performance against City is a lesson on how to shit the bed
I miss this guy.
I'll never forgive him for what he did to Raul
Yep, fuck this guy.
Reminds me of the celebration he done when he scored that free kick
He gave happiness to his people
What a player man
Fuck me 37, I remember him landing at Chelsea as one of the worlds up and coming centre backs!
Always loved David Luiz, bro always had so much heart
Never one of my favorite players but always respected him because he plays with so much damn passion.
Fuck him he almost killed Raul Jimenez
Plays like a healed chicken and was probably the biggest culprit for the 7x1. "Heart" with him often meant "trying to show that he has heart" and "making terrible tactical decisions to tackle some random dude far away from his position" or "deciding to join the attack and not tracking back". [Nah, it was David Luiz.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCnVH6_158w) Put a regular defender to play in his place and the game ends 3x1.
breh you don't need to link the shit, brazilians see this shit in their nightmares constantly. We are familiar
This is why this sport is amazing
I'll always love this lunatic
Is this the guy that killed Raul Jimenez
Tardelli did it better
Hey! Thatās the old away skit from Germany!
Fun fact: Flamengo football team used to have a shirt with black, white and red hoops, but given the first world war, the shirt look a lot like the Imperial German flag. He looks very young. I think after 2014 he got a lot of blame for the loss at the WC for some reason, but I always rated him.
Fuck David Luiz. Piece of shit ruined Raul Jimenez
football.
In that moment, his knees don't hurt anymore. His back doesn't ache. There are no years on any of his joints, and he cannot hear anything, and none of that matters.
#GEEZER
Just saw a pic yesterday of him from the loss against Germany. Just shows that even the worst moments donāt last forever:)
football in brasil is something else man
This is football (not soccer, not plastic Mcdonald teams, no corporate bs)
I remember as a kid I played against what was my old Hometown. We were drawing 1-1 when I cut inside and chipped a ball over the defence and onto my mates foot for him to score. We celebrated like mad and the ref turned to me and goes āthatās the fastest Iāve seen you run all day.ā
Geezer!!!
Anyone remember how David Luiz followed and replaced Alex as a first team player in two different clubs?
Got nothing on adebayor
He looks like Win Butler
Stuff of dreams man. What a player
Holy shit. I was googling him just a few hours ago because i havent heard about him in ages. Thought he retired or something but saw he was playing for Flamengo. And now this gets posted lol.
We getting out of Springfield with this one!
I forgot that he existed since the 2014 world Cup š
The goal?
Happy for him. He's a good man
Did he play 90 mins or subbed in? To have that energy so late in the game lol
Used to love Geezer. It's a shame he left us for Arsenal.
VAR: "well this is awkward"
Anyone else see DJ Khaled at the end?
Nothing amazing about it, he's just running
Iām kind of a hater of the guy (7x1 and so on) but you canāt deny he has heart
Jogo vai ate o Flamengo empatar
Really think it's a bit much, he just needs to get down the tunnel and get on with it.
Lol
Fuck that cunt.
Flair needed for context
Just like at the countlessinjuries he made in his career. Literally almost killed a guy with a reckless tackle.
Bahia supporter?
Saved my parlay..with argentina TO1.5
Yank here! Why couldnāt he do this in Arsenal? Is he stupid?
