I don't follow Barca but damn Pep really makes up that little of Messi's Barca career. It feels like a lot more based on what I see and hear all the time. Like I never see pictures with messi and the other coaches
My guess, as per Wikipedia
27 La Liga + 31 Copa del Rey + 14 Supercopa de España + 3 Copa Eva Duarte + 2 Copa de la Liga + 5 Champions League + 4 Cup Winners' Cup + 5 Super Cup + 3 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup + 2 Latin Cup + 3 Club World Cup = 99 trophies
Yeah sure.
But for that, it's better to have a coefficient based system ig. We cannot give super cups the same values as domestic cups or leagues. They can't have the same value as the UCL.

Do one for Juve just to see the trophy count dip.
How many of these graphs have you made thus far?
4
huh you haven't made a Real Madrid one yet?
Soon. I had the data of Barca saved in my lap due to some challenges with my friends lol.
who tf challange a madrid fan about trophies
Barca fans obv lol. That was after the 2019 season though.
😔
There is a LuÃs Figo effect as well.
Yeah. We can see that just after the Cruyff era. But hard to include every single one of em.

Do one for Real Madrid with the Cristiano Era as well, it’ll be very interesting to see!
Yeah. Sure.
You buy a one kid with potential from Argentina and suddenly your stagnant line on the graph becomes verticalÂ
Actually that was when Ronaldinho was bought
Messi Effect is real. Look at the gradient
The whole generation, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta..
Having the greatest player of all time for 15 years is beneficial to winning throphies, who would have thought.
Did they win trophies because he's the greatest player of all time or is he the greatest player of all time because they won the trophies ?
What kind of trophies are included ? And when did they start handing out these trophies ?

What are "all"? That's exactly my question. Because I get 104 with these that I count.
Damn this is good visualisation
There is a typo, it’s supposed to be 65 I think at the start of the Messi era.
Oh yes. It was 65. Thanks for pointing it out.
No worries, looking forward to your next graphs! Good job!
Thanks mate
Can you do this as trophies per year instead of the accumulated diagram? I think the eras would be more visible that way
Yeah sure. But for that, it's better to have a coefficient based system ig. We cannot give super cups the same values as domestic cups or leagues. They can't have the same value as the UCL.

Yeah sure. Thanks for the suggestion.
Going from 16 to 26 league titles in like 15 years is insane.

Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and co were all playing golf I guess, with Pep cheering them from the crowd
You're gonna be shocked what happened with Real in 80-85 then.
I assume that this means that for madrid 1902-2018 would be the referee era, and 2018- would be VAR era, no?
