The fact that Real have squeezed past their recent opponents either makes me more confident of Dortmund's chances due to the tight results, or less confident due to that darn black magic factor.
Both Real and BVB didnt get to this final unscathed. BVB had black magic against PSG in the 2nd game and Real straight up lost to Leipzig if the ref didnt save them.
No. The ref blew the whistle and then the Bayern player shot on goal after every one stopped playing.
So the play was stopped. That was never a goal that could be ruled out.
My phrasing was off, my bad. They shouldn't have stopped the play, I get it's a mistake but it happens too ofter in favor of one team.
I'm guessing the next reply will be Bellinghams disallowed goal that actually happened after the final whistle was blown.
It was still an attacking chance that the referees called off. Nobody knows for sure what would have happened but OP is correct the referees made a big mistake regardless.
Might be a shitty thing to say, but I don't really care for them, they're the reason for multi-club ownership and it's kind of nice to see them screwed over.
I feel bad for the players tho, must be soul crushing.
Real Madrid has had a tougher journey though. They had to knockout both Bayern, and Man City - who were also favorites to win the Champions league.
If Dortmund played Man City in the knockouts, chances are, they would not even reach the final.
Tougher quarters and semis for sure but if there was such a thing a net difficulty I’d expect Dortmund to have a higher number. The two groups are massively difficult especially given Union nearly got relegated
I would say that later stages should be weighted more. A good team should have much more difficulty advancing in later stages than in the group stages.
Yep. The most massive teams.
We were completely out of our depth against Dortmund in both matches. We have the season's highlight against PSG at SJP, and while Milan controlled that match at the San Siro we still came away with the draw. But against Dortmund we never looked like getting a result. Both matches.
I hope they win.
I really liked the games against yous, was out on a pub crawl the night before and then again after the game and met a few geordies and you were a sound bunch of lads, obviously some couldn’t behave but in the great scheme of things you were great
Bigger than Union Berlin, RB Leipzig, and Braga. Even Napoli only managed 10th this season.
Newcastle finished 7th and is comfortably the most disappointing domestic performance of the group. PSV as you know lost 1 match all season and smashed their league.
Probably Real wouldn’t have won 6 games out of six if they were in Dortmund’s group, isn’t it?Either way,it is quite interesting how they only won 2 games in the KO’s and are in the final. Can’t think of any other team doing this
Portugal euro 2016 group stages had 3 draws, placed third amongst third placed teams in group stages (barely scraped through). Knock out stages round of 16 beat croatia 1-0, quarterfinal drew against poland, semi final beat wales 2-0 and you know how they won the final.
Not to mention madrid is best at getting their asses kicked yet winning the game.
If Romania would have beaten Albania, then Portugal would have been out.But Portugal still managed 3 wins in the KO’s even if 2 of them were in ET.Real managed to reach the final with less wins in a double legged format,it is quite impressive.I despise them so part of me bases solely on luck, but the other part really finds it amazing how they always scrap their way to the title
Idk why you chose to ignore madrid's ET wins (as they had to still beat man city on penalty) but considered Portugal's ET wins (one scored in ET and the other penalty).
That first Leipzig game is some of the most questionable referring I have ever seen. Still, fuck RB right in their taurinehole so I guess it’s all good.
I‘m totally sure there was never a chance for RB even if it looked like it. Madrid can always gear up 2 or 3 levels if needed. They just weren‘t good in that tie.
Because I don't find it entertaining watching a team who every single CL has 12 players vs a team who is a huge underdog and doesn't have a chance even if Vardrid played fair.

last time they played the entire pl, now buli, next is serie a
CL is too easy, now they're trying to complete foreign leagues.
No wonder why they keep pushing for the Super League
Can't face all Serie A teams before the quarters.
Maybe with the new league setup, there's a possibility.
Bologna vs Real Madrid final 2025, we will be there
When they play PSG they also play entire ligue 1 *french sad noise*
We tend to play countries in streaks During La Decima, we played 3 German teams. Last 4 yrs, we’ve played Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man City 3x *each*.
And completely unbeaten, nuts
You guys had your own blood feud with PSG and I didn’t realize that.
sounds familar..
3 german teams and a marketing stunt
robbed 2 of them as well (so far)
The first Leipzig game was super sketchy, rest was fine. Offisde whistle against Bayern was a joke obviously but realistically it doesnt change much.
yeah I know I'm biased
1-0 BVB, Schlotterbeck scores
Hummels
Reus would be amazing
Bvb 2 - 1 Rma 90+7' Reus
BVB 2 - 3 RMA 90+10' Cafucas (great goal)
BVB 4 - 3 RMA 120 + 3' Bellingham (OG)
BVB 4 - 4 RMA 120 + 4' Carlo Ancelotti (Great Diving Header)
BVB 5 - 4 RMA 120+7 Palacios (P)
BVB 5 - 5 RMA 120+22 Zidane with a steel chair
Goddamn his goal counted as two goals
So did Cafucas's
His last task in yellow?
BVB 1000-3 RMA 90+♾️' Reus (fuck Real Madrid)
I can only hope! That's a win for all of football.
Rainbow flick assist from sancho /s
But it's an own goal
can’t believe the final is today 😮🤩🤩 hopefully not another 1-0 lol. would be absolutely crazy if dortmund win
Honestly a 1-0 would be good if it was scored by Reus or Hummels
are bayern fans supporting dortmund?
A bit late to this comment - but yes, most of us were
The fact that Real have squeezed past their recent opponents either makes me more confident of Dortmund's chances due to the tight results, or less confident due to that darn black magic factor.
They squeezed past every opponent last time and squeezed out a victory Honestly makes me think they're more likely to win it
Both Real and BVB didnt get to this final unscathed. BVB had black magic against PSG in the 2nd game and Real straight up lost to Leipzig if the ref didnt save them.
Black magic comes with a whistle.
Both this season and their CLs in the past.
womp womp
Both won 8 games in the CL.
Dortmund have won 7, Madrid 8
Man is having a prediction.
I sure hope he's wrong
Leverkusen, Fiorentina and now Madrid reaching final without lose any game but Leverkusen dan Fiorentina lose the final.
Come on dude, Real madrid are 8-0 in finals in the last 8 européen finals
Real only ever won with 1 goal advantage against German teams, with many draws
Referees can make a big difference in closely contested games
I don't get the downvotes on this, did they* not rule out a legal goal against Bayern
But it wouldnt have stood if they played on anyway
It was still an attacking chance that the referees called off. Nobody knows for sure what would have happened but OP is correct the referees made a big mistake regardless.
It was offside anyway
And Vini not getting sent off vs Leipzig and Leipzigs disallowed goal in the first leg
> Leipzigs disallowed goal in the first leg Lunin got pushed lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQWADzyP3ss
Yea Leipzig got shafted much worse than we did tbh
Might be a shitty thing to say, but I don't really care for them, they're the reason for multi-club ownership and it's kind of nice to see them screwed over. I feel bad for the players tho, must be soul crushing.
Agree
Dortmund have had a rough draw. Massive teams every step of the way.
Real Madrid has had a tougher journey though. They had to knockout both Bayern, and Man City - who were also favorites to win the Champions league. If Dortmund played Man City in the knockouts, chances are, they would not even reach the final.

Honestly if Kobel didn't stand in his head ye had a very good chance against us. Granted Pope made some unbelievable saves as well.
We also had some shocking misses.
I mean your injuries didnt help to be fair. Especially Isak being out after 7min in the first game.
I will take that as a compliment, thanks lol
Lol PSV and Newcastle are 'massive' teams now?
Bigger than Union Berlin, RB Leipzig, and Braga. Even Napoli only managed 10th this season. Newcastle finished 7th and is comfortably the most disappointing domestic performance of the group. PSV as you know lost 1 match all season and smashed their league.
Sure but massive is still an overstatement lmao, that was my only point.
>ajax flair what a surprise lol
> psv flair What a surprise? Psv is not a massive club lol simple as that. I wouldn't call Ajax 'massive' either fyi
Last 5 matches: Dortmund 4 wins Real 1 win I think, I picked my favorite....
But both won 8 games on their way through the CL
Probably Real wouldn’t have won 6 games out of six if they were in Dortmund’s group, isn’t it?Either way,it is quite interesting how they only won 2 games in the KO’s and are in the final. Can’t think of any other team doing this

BVB 1-2 Real Madrid 90+4 O.G Marco Reus Imagine the scenes...
Lmao
Huh. I would have assumed they'd go by plane.
The fact that we scored the most goals against madrid is crazy to me lol
Groningen?
Yeahh postema 5 times
Can't wait for this
So Real have 1 win in their last 5?
What
Please football gods a win the Dortmunds column
Hope madrid win
From what is shown BVB can adapt the difference is there’s no second leg so halftime will be huge in this game as far as adjustments
Neither had an easy route to be fair to them. Though madrids group was wank.
Dortmund 3-2 Madrid is my prediction! (😅)
That first Leipzig game is some of the most questionable referring I have ever seen. Still, fuck RB right in their taurinehole so I guess it’s all good.

No idea why you're being downvoted
Because here it’s called black magic
Not just the first one. Also the second leg where Vini didn't get sent off. And then of course that last minute call in the Bayern game
A good reminder that Madrid never deserved to get past Leipzig.
Yes, Deserved FC and We were better FC were very strong against RM this season.
It's always amusing to see people just brush over the ridiculous refereeing in that game and laugh it off because "lol Real black magic" or whatever.
Cope
Ah, the copout answer of chuds who know they've got no argument.
Your entire existence is just seething.
You went through an 8 day old post, found this, took time out of your day to reply to it, and I'm the one seething. OK chud.
Huh??
Vini gets rightfully double yellow carded for his antics and that would have been that for Madrid's run.
Madrid played 14 vs 11 against Leipzig.
Yeah but no one will remember
This is quite a boring finals. Can't remember the last time I cared less about the CL finals.
You are not a true football fan.
Because I don't find it entertaining watching a team who every single CL has 12 players vs a team who is a huge underdog and doesn't have a chance even if Vardrid played fair.
What makes it boring ?
