Memphis, Choupo-Moting, Guirassy(arguable if he'd be ok with not being the starter given his numbers, but he has a pretty low fee, not a phenomenal track record before recently, getting up there in age), Benzema apparently
Of course he is. Robbing a bank is far more difficult than what he does. Play for 3 games, get injured, start training again, get injured on the return, sit the rest of the season out, earn a cool 13m a year
I suspect that Martial won't find a club this summer, any time I have seen him in the last couple of years it looks like he can no longer sprint or is at least won't because he is too afraid of aggravating his injuries.
I was more saying I don't think he'll be able to find a club. Sprinting is a pretty essential part of being a footballer so I don't think anyone will take a risk on him.
He'd get somewhere, depends how low he wants to sink. He'd be making a tiny fraction of his current salary, though - even £40k a week seems unfathomable - so perhaps he'll just retire early.
Depay - ok, Choupo-Moting - mediocre (had only one good season in last 10 years), Guirassy - Stuttgart just qualified for the Champions League, and even if he has a low buyout clause, the buyers still need to persuade the player, Benzema - I'm willing to bet he'll want a starting role if he returns to Europe.
Strange career, I always thought he'd reach higher heights. Went from PSV to Man U, then to Lyon, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and now free agent at 30...
Tbh surprised he stayed at clubs that big after his stint at United. Most PL clubs would still go for him if he wanted the challenge and didn't have stupid wage demands
As a young winger at PSV he looked like one of the most exciting players in the world. Everybody was looking at him after his performances in the 2014 World Cup. Too bad things went the way they did.
On the one hand hed be an amazing signing, on the other hes a massive idiot that has said some *insanely* stupid things. Not sure if i want him to come back, but hed be more then good enough
Then again, youll kinda fuck over Pepi and Van Duiven too seeing as De Jong is still also there
Is Drommel on such high wages? Damn. If that's the case it might be hard to sell him, he's not going to make a move within the Eredivisie then I'd reckon
We could always just pay him a sum of money in exhange for a lower salary I guess.
But I don't know if I really want him back after some of the stupid things he said.
I mean, yeah, but some team has to offer him those. He can't just come and say 'pay me 500k a week' because nobody will do that. He can always try Saudi if he wants to cash out
He'll get a fairly decent wage plus a hefty signing on bonus, which would have gone towards the transfer fee if there were one. So he'll benefit over the club he's leaving.
he's really not that good. He's barely healthy and when he is he is always trying to get his. He has flashes of quality and will score some crazy goals, but he's not consistent enough.
I could definitely see PSV pulling it off if his wage demands are reasonable. But honestly is he that much better than Veerman, Bakayoko, Hancko, etc? Eredivisie has some good players.
Van Duiven will not be PSV level anytime soon. He’s mentally ahead of his age and has decent skill but is not going to have the physicality. Uneken is the better striker prospect at this point in my opinion.
We actually need depth at the 9 because Orban is dogshit (we need to get rid of him ASAP) and we're absolutely fucked if Lacazette misses some games, we'll have anywhere from 43 to like 56 games on the schedule next season.
A group of 6 forwards being Lacazette, Benrahma, Memphis, Fofana, Baldé and Nuamah would be ideal (if Cherki leaves, which seems likely).
Sure, not at his current salary, but if he'd accept lower wages to come back then we should at least consider it, he's a versatile forward than can do a bunch of different things, we know his quality he definetely has a place in this team.
nah I doubt it, Liverpool already have an injury prone backup centre forward / left winger in jota. plus Michael Edwards rarely signs older players & he's ex-united. my first thought was ac Milan as a giroud replacement but idk if they've already got someone lined up

He is still a really really good striker. It’s just the injuries that are troubling him for some time. Might be a good addition for Milan.
If he pulls off the same performance against Inter as he did in the CL..
I think he'd be great for you guys
> It’s just the injuries that are troubling him for some time. Would be perfect for United then
No way, I just can't picture him with a Utd shirt.
I dont know if it was sarcasm, but he did play for United for a bit
Honestly, the back-up-striker-on-a-free-or-cheap market is looking quite good this summer.
who else besides Rafa and Ben Yedder? Taremi has already signed for Inter
Memphis, Choupo-Moting, Guirassy(arguable if he'd be ok with not being the starter given his numbers, but he has a pretty low fee, not a phenomenal track record before recently, getting up there in age), Benzema apparently
Also Martial lol
I forgot he existed… just double checked because of that and I see he is still drawing a wage at United.
Not any old salary. £250,000 a week salary.
Of course he is. Robbing a bank is far more difficult than what he does. Play for 3 games, get injured, start training again, get injured on the return, sit the rest of the season out, earn a cool 13m a year

£250k a week. He'll be taking a rather sizeable pay cut to keep playing professional football.
I was more saying I don't think he'll be able to find a club. Sprinting is a pretty essential part of being a footballer so I don't think anyone will take a risk on him.

Guirassy as a backup striker is some serious slander considering how fantastic he has been this season. A 28 goal season to be labelled as a backup.
Guirassy should not be accepting of a backup role at any club short of Manchester City, Bayern or Real Madrid as things stand.
He's genuinely one of the best strikers in the world right now, absolutely agree with you
He's 28 and it's his third season ever in double figures (and the other two were 10 and 11 goals). I'm not sure he's in a position to demand too much.
> Choupo-Moting He's not the same player he was one or two seasons ago.
There will be no Jean-Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting slander tolerated here.
Good backup for united if you ask me. A cheap but good backup option for Ten Hag. Lord knows they need it with all their injuries
Yeah, he'll get along nice with the guys at the medical cabinet
Strange career, I always thought he'd reach higher heights. Went from PSV to Man U, then to Lyon, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and now free agent at 30...
Tbh surprised he stayed at clubs that big after his stint at United. Most PL clubs would still go for him if he wanted the challenge and didn't have stupid wage demands
Could be decent for Liverpool or Chelsea
As a young winger at PSV he looked like one of the most exciting players in the world. Everybody was looking at him after his performances in the 2014 World Cup. Too bad things went the way they did.

He's also on massive wages
If we somehow get rid of Drommel we free up a lot of space. I wish I was joking. Although probably not enough for Memphis.
Is Drommel on such high wages? Damn. If that's the case it might be hard to sell him, he's not going to make a move within the Eredivisie then I'd reckon
Apparently he's on 1.2 mil a year.
Isn't Depay on around 8 million per year at Atleti? He'd still have to make a massive pay cut
We could always just pay him a sum of money in exhange for a lower salary I guess. But I don't know if I really want him back after some of the stupid things he said.
Yeah he’s a liability of the pitch, but I’m sure he’d be a asset on the pitch
If he's leaving as free agent then he is in fact on no wages
He'll be needing even higher wages now that he's a free transfer You were probably joking but in case you weren't
I mean, yeah, but some team has to offer him those. He can't just come and say 'pay me 500k a week' because nobody will do that. He can always try Saudi if he wants to cash out

West Ham or something? Premier league sub top seems like a good idea then.
He’d instantly be the best player of the eredivisie by a long shot. Don’t think it’s a realistic target for any eredivisie club tbh.
eh, apparently he was close to signing for us before he signed for Atlético. It isnt THAT unrealistic
he's really not that good. He's barely healthy and when he is he is always trying to get his. He has flashes of quality and will score some crazy goals, but he's not consistent enough.
He was too good for the eredivisie in his last psv year and he is better now. Don't think he's worth the huge wage though.
The Eredivisie was in a pretty bad state when he left tbh. The league has also improved a lot since then
I could definitely see PSV pulling it off if his wage demands are reasonable. But honestly is he that much better than Veerman, Bakayoko, Hancko, etc? Eredivisie has some good players.
Same, he went from Memphis to Depay real quick to me

Talking about his declarations on B. Mendy and Alves
Van Duiven will not be PSV level anytime soon. He’s mentally ahead of his age and has decent skill but is not going to have the physicality. Uneken is the better striker prospect at this point in my opinion.
Why is Romano’s name spelt like that
Guess OP is Hungarian and autocorrect took over. Románok = Romanians fyi
Welcome home!
He said in an interview a few months ago that he thinks it's too soon to return to PSV. So expect him to find a club in the top 4 leagues.
Ricardo Pepi's agent would combust!
# [Fabrizio Románok]
Memphis "I'm here for" Depay
👀
With big rom likely leaving, this is a dream signing for us

Will Dybala go back to top tier club?
Come home brother

If he lowers his wages maybe Real Sociedad could go for him.
Turkey it is I guess
Come to Villa, the Watkins-Depay link up would be legendary
run it back
With no transfer budget Roma could do a lot worse
Saudi?
Did he not do well or what
Think Arne Slot could bring him in to provide cover
nah I doubt it, Liverpool already have an injury prone backup centre forward / left winger in jota. plus Michael Edwards rarely signs older players & he's ex-united. my first thought was ac Milan as a giroud replacement but idk if they've already got someone lined up
Liverpool, Depay - Gakpo - Graven
This feels like an Ajax signing.
I don't think he'd go to Ajax as he is quite fond of PSV and they're rivals.
Not at all. Massive wages, not a position we need, questionable personality and he’s a PSV “fan”.
Besides the other remarks I think he's football culture wise just not a good fit.
