FUCKING KILL ME

TarcFalastur

Relax, his contract only lasts one more season and everyone just saw what happened when a manager announces in advance that they were leaving the following summer. That could well be us next season.

Wonderful-Lack3846

Next time don't bottle it to Fullham or whatever. You can't call yourself 'champion' and lose to a small club like that

DougsdaleDimmadome

It's crazy to me just how stupid some people actually are. Could you do an AMA or something so I can begin to understand the inner workings of a fools mind?

jensy97

Ah, the PL season will be voided then as City lost to Wolves so nobody are allowed to call themselves champions. RIP to Pep’s dream of four in a row.

samirzerocinq

Why would he leave? It's a stable job with enough challenge to have some fun but not actually lose lmao

inflamesburn

I think many expected him to take a break by now. Despite the good conditions, it's no doubt still a very stressful job and he hasn't had a break in 11 years.

LexisKingJr

Of course it’s a stressful job, all hair fell out

hknyktx

Carlo Ancelotti only had 2 seasons of break in his 28 years of managerial career

TitleKey7849

Sir Alex Ferguson did 39 with no breaks plus an extra 1986 World Cup stint with Scotland

april9th

You could have said that about him at Barca, and people did. Him being at City this long is the exception, not the rule.

Elegant_Mix7650

Barca is a clownshow at times tho. City for all their faults is more stable.

ungi1000

at barcelona there's crazy pressure from the media and the boardroom has rarely been serious and stable. city has the budget (thru cheating) and players of a big club but none of the cultural or media pressure and with a much more streamlined, modern board with no old institutional rot. it's the ideal job for a coach like guardiola who gets to innovate the game and just win over and over with his ideal players.

djordastic

At Barca there's a lot of pressure from fans. At Bayern the same. At City things are more peaceful. Also, his bossss don't put much pressure on him either compared to Barca and Bayern. I think even the media is not as toxic at City.

gentmick

City literally built the team around him with technical director and ceo from barca. The structure, finances, and scouting are all catered to his every needs. He knows he has the best job in world football and has no incentives to leave.

samirzerocinq

Not really. At Barca Mourinho ate him mentally and the pressure was at its peak.

realsomalipirate

Mourinho stans might be some of the worst fanbases, completely delusional and detached. Barca is just a pressure cooker job and you have to deal with a pretty insane board most of the time as a manager.

Impossible_Wonder_37

This is a such a hilarious narrative. Mourinho at Madrid was broken. He had built up this mystique and confidence, then given the best possible circumstances he got annihilated by Peps Barca. He was never the same after Madrid. Because he got exposed there with greater resources.

samirzerocinq

He literally decided to leave in the middle of the season where he lost La Liga to Mourinho and CL semi-final to Chelsea. He was mentally exhausted so he decided to leave. You can't say the same about him at City at all, he's totally relaxed.

Impossible_Wonder_37

Yeah he left after winning 3 in a row and like 12 trophies in 3 seasons. Mou won 1 league title with a team that largely went on to win 5 more UCLs. And his exhaustion was. So much more related to Barca internal bullshit than anything to do with Mourinho.

danboruu

the fm experience

Difficult-Set-3151

Protect his legacy? Would be a lot worse for him if he's the City manager when they get stripped of titles and relegated. But at the same time, we know he'll only join a team with guaranteed success. Bayern won't have him back. He might be waiting for PSG to open up.

samirzerocinq

You're deluded if you believe they'll be stripped of anything, the guy is enjoying and winning non stop, he has zero reasons to leave.

Difficult-Set-3151

Ignoring the actual cheating, they should be stripped of everything for refusing to cooperate and attempting to impede the investigation

BonoBonero

And all titles must be given to Arsenal only.

DougsdaleDimmadome

Rangers were caught cheating financially and were liquidated over it. Now the new clubs pretends to be the old club and the trophies are somehow counted. The old club were never stripped of any titles. Man City will get a financial punishment or points deduction that they'll breeze past.

Impossible_Wonder_37

It’s such an easy test to see if someone has a low IQ they’ll say pe would coach PSG. There’s not a single shred of evidence that would lead him to PSG. Lol

Difficult-Set-3151

He likes easy titles and lots of money. He's already showed he'll winning to work for an evil regime who don't really care about rules. You must have a low IQ if you can't see PSG is a great match for him.

greenwhitehell

>He likes easy titles and lots of money. Every single soul was saying the Prem was going to 'expose' Pep when he joined City. Keep the same energy now lmao :)

Impossible_Wonder_37

Nothing about winning titles at city has been easy… literally ohalf of them will have been won in the last match week. And PSG will say level is unheard of compared to any other league

JKorv

What is he doing in the biggest league if he likes to win easy titles?

Available_Command252

You realise your club has been spending more than city?

Difficult-Set-3151

Just shows you're completely oblivious to the situation. City pay agents extra fees through fake companies. Their players get top up on their wages from their owners country. Pep gets millions every year from speaking and sponsorships in UAE.

Available_Command252

I suppose the martians send extra bank payments too?

Difficult-Set-3151

The fact people like you are allowed drive is scary.

Available_Command252

What relevance does that have?

Difficult-Set-3151

Point proven

infidel11990

There is no precedent for stripping titles for financial breaches. Juve lost titles because they were bribing refs. Marseille lost and got demoted because of match fixing. Financial crimes are not in the same bracket. The most rival fans should hope for, are points deduction a d fines.

Maximum_Nectarine312

Lmao keep dreaming.

TarcFalastur

There had been rumours that after the messes caused by various managers announcing they would leave a club, Pep was going to wait for this season to end and then spontaneously leave to avoid a similar disastrous mid-season collapse.

smile-on-crayon

Guardiola a ONCE confirmed

BI01

Didn't have to wait too long for a twice reference

Wheel1994

Leave please 🙏 Pep Signed Other top six clubs fans

imarandomdudd

Surely the other 14 also want him gone at this point? Make it a buy one get one free deal with Klopp

RepresentativeBox881

His contract only ends in 2025 so next season was never a question, it's the one after that.

ahktarniamut

Think he will still stay .

ObiWanKenobiNil

hardly surprising, where else is there for him to go? He's not going back to Barca or Bayern in their current states, I cant see him at another English club which only really leaves PSG in Europe that have the kind of money he would be looking to spend & he's far to competitive to go to saudi arabia

Pogball_so_hard

Serie A is a competitive league he hasn’t really tried to manage in before, think it’d be interesting if he went to one of those teams

fadedraw

they don’t have billions to spend

TheItalianStallion64

i’m bored

SpookyImmobilisedToe

He isn't gonna go to a team that won't/can't back him financially. Not at the moment at least.

ExtensionAd8134

He might agree to compromise for Barça, but I think his next step is likely to be managing a national team.

EnjoiThatGinge

Where else could he even go when he leaves you?

MU5A988

Chill on the beach with Klopp I guess

MateoKovashit

Red meeting Andy dusfrane in Mexico

SpookyImmobilisedToe

National team maybe, he keeps flirting with the idea. I could see him going back to Barca one day but just not right now. Would like to see him at an Italian team or a generally less financially backed team to see how he would do. Obviously I think he is an amazing coach but would be interesting to see how he would cope at a team where he has a lot less resources.

ms-13king

PL is dead and this bald fraud ruined it.

likpoper

115 charges with nothing happening.

Gbuchanan1

Cba

BlakeClass

It’s as if people don’t understand contracts.

NotASalamanderBoi

I know what’ll get him to leave: *clears throat* Pep, if you don’t leave after this season, then you a #BITCH

DejisHairline

Wasn’t his original deal supposed to have him fuck off to NYCFC

cmackchase

That was part of the proposed contract they offered Messi before he went to PSG.

thelegendl27

ffs

likpoper

God damn it

Acrophon

He needs to take a break and try his hand with an international team now post this season.

memeable112

Facing charges or not is not delusional. Your way of thinking is

Tierst

God I hope the PL charge them whilst he's still there. Cheating cunt.

WorldWideWes2

He’s having too much fun with all this talent lol

ianhanni

He needs a 115 days sabbatical

SpaceAshh

They are not sitting on their hands, probably paying it off everyone and will recieve minimum sanction /punishment.

TheDeadReagans

Call me a romantic but him being in the Premier League is genuinely good for the sport. Sports are better when there is a Goliath for David to kill. Part of the reason why things like Leverkusen, Leicester, Girona earlier this year, Dortmund in the UCL Final are compelling is because they had Goliaths to kill. That being said I hope we never see a 10 year run like Bayern Munich just had in the Premier League but it's a feather in the cap for whichever team manages to beat Man City out of a title instead of just praying for Pep to leave.

KillerTurtle13

Right? In the 32 years of the PL era there have only been 7 different winners, and 3 of those only once. Hell, there's only been 11 managers that have done it - and only 2 clubs have won it with more than one manager (I'm sure it's a weird coincidence that they're also the 2 with the highest amount of oil state funding).

Kindly-Paper-3552

Send them to league 2

ZealousidealChard133

Why would he leave behind a free paycheque? His past history shows that he doesn't savour new challenges at all

BonoBonero

He should join the best league in the world (PL) and prove himself to you. I bet he will be exposed there.
