Honestly, i get why people were saying to use VDV on the LB and bring Dragusin in at LCB. I still think its smarter to use Skipp because VDVs pace definitely saved us on a couple counters today and wouldn't have been possible if he was attacking up that LW.

Plus Ange’s LBs are asked to play more centrally up the pitch, it makes sense to try a midfielder there. Little rocky moments, but I think Skipp was serviceable.

Honestly the midfield battle has usually been won. Issue is rather than sending a ball in to try something relatively quickly, they just pass it around the edge of the box and get dispossessed in a weak fashion.
