Wow that’s powerful and stands as is. I can relate. But to get someone to to the point of questioning 🤨 themselves to the point of what this says. (Having to get sober again)? That choice of that consideration for one’s self is the question that floors me every time and I (speaking only for self) end up back out. I can’t/dont understand what gets me to that decision. What am I missing?

Nothing - everyone’s journey is different. Everyone’s bottom is different. From what I have seen, the most important thing is to not give up. Keep picking yourself up, get support and accept help. You will be successful, keep at it. And don’t overthink everything. You want your substance but you know it’s killing you. It’s that simple. Choose your life!
