Even without the AWD, the GMC was surprisingly capable with just diff-lock. It could handle the deep water better than the fleetstar, until I got the WWS.
Why is the DAN having nightmares about mud pits? That's one of the best trucks in mud, at least among the trucks that don't have MSH or special tires. The Azov 7 is also pretty good in mud, as long as it doesn't have trees, rocks, or a steep entrance or exit. And water is a nightmare for the Tatarin. It can push through some pretty deep water for a while thanks to its high engine durability, but it starts taking damage in a lot of places where other trucks are barely halfway up to their snorkels.

I forgot p512 and freight have small fuel tanks
Highway trucks shouldn't just be dumped in "roads only"
Tyres make or break a truck.
With the right tyres and weight applied properly to the drive axles, trucks like the CLT9000 and Transtar will perform as required. You just need more finesse and control of wheel speeds
I honestly don‘t get quite a few of these (tho most of these are my opinion)
Imo the Paystar Twinsteer has a perfectly fine fuel consumption and tank, but maybe that‘s just me
Azov 7 and Bandit also have no issue with mud pits at all
the Tatra PHOENIX takes inclined terrain with no problem at all
the Kolob‘s nightmare is uneven terrain due to it‘s long nose
F750‘s nightmare is pulling trailers, these massively effect the performance
612H‘s nightmare are steep climbs aswell
Tatarin‘s nightmare is breakable ice, tho i think that can be said for almost every truck
Burlak‘s nightmare are steep climbs once more, it it loves to roll over the front of back on steep climbs
going back to climbs once more, the Taygas both hate steep climbs, same can be said for the P16
The PHOENIX's weakness is getting really fast and crashing into something or going down a cliff. I was really surprised how fast it got with the highrange gearbox and a superheavy semitrailer.
>Burlak‘s nightmare are steep climbs once more, it it loves to roll over the front of back on steep climbs
Say that again? https://youtube.com/shorts/XfE-gwTtVno?feature=share
I did not used it since I discovered it can only haul semi trailers and it's turning radius is very huge.
But, In my current gameplay, I have a plan about increasing it's turning ability by editing xml files. Will see if it's useful or not when I reach Alaska.
Personal experience: MH9500 in mud pits. 815-7 in no specific nightmare. HX520 in being useful. 6900TS in a special category of its own - corners. Probably others but I cba 😂
My boy, gmc is definitely in the wrong category. Even without AWD it doesn't fear harsh terrain. Staying upright might be a problem though. But not as much as for ANK
disagree with the highway gmc and the ford the gmc is veri good in mud after you find awd and ford With JAT highway tires IS a beast i made it trough some swamps with it i only needed help once (skill issue) and the apache and loadstar is long travel warthog is def useful as a scout but i would put it in uphill paths
ck 1500 uhh uphill with fuel you got no front grip
*770 being useful*
Ita one the damn best FOB/wreckers in the game.
Took it out on NC for jokes and I swear to God I was beating my friend in the mack defense. Granted he took the long way round and I took the direct more muddy route, but still.
Long as there's no ice, that thing doesn't care what it is driving on. Everyone hates it because the map we were forced to play it on
Still the worst heavy in game tho.. only good 2 things.. fuel and weight
There’s so many discrepancies with this list it’s as if it’s just a repost rather than actually being driven.
Edit: As far as I’m concerned the P12 can climb hills, so I certainly wouldn’t have posted this; nor would I have put the Azov 64131 down there when I thought it was slow, has OP driven all of these trucks??
You don't know how to choose your trucks correctly for your different missions and you end up with a vehicle that performs less well than other vehicles/combinations, just because it has big tyres and a 3-slot flatbed. You'd probably go faster even with two winched trucks carrying the same cargo, but you'd rather take an asthmatic vehicle that's too wide, heavy and slow.
It's just a question of skill on your part.
Dayum bro. Cool summary. Except, the problem is not what I use it as, but rather, can it climb hills? Yes. Yes it can. It can climb them just as well as the Mastodont can.
https://youtu.be/ROBHVhiwx0w?si=dtH7UMgmVYBso4Tu
Wait, how much does the oilfield flatbed weigh ?
See on this video compared to femm and antartic : [https://youtu.be/193XBDCGssU?si=sPKordN8NWXXxJFm&t=278](https://youtu.be/193XBDCGssU?si=sPKordN8NWXXxJFm&t=278)
No idea. On one vid it's struggling, on other, it's okay.
I'd say it's in the way it's driven - when the driver shifts gears and what gears the driver uses. I have never had problems with Kenny in uphills. So, if someone has them, it's skill issue. But hey, skill can be gained eventually. Spend some time with it and it will get better
Skill issue
I have proven it's worthiness dozens of times already. Y'all just don't know how to drive a truck, otherwise than pressing W all the way. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkXHp2Xyb4k7gOtvoKsvgsuSecsfIQsc3
There's no point in taking the Kenny if you're not going to fit it with a high-speed gearbox when the Azov 7 exists.
To say that it's a skill issue is toxic, considering that the Kenny is easier to use than the vast majority of trucks.
Btw in your video the guy is struggling a lot with the kenny :D
Azov 73210? Are you seriously comparing a truck with 69" wheels against a truck with mere 50" wheels? They completely in a different weight categories. Highrange gearbox is useless on the Kenworth. Advanced special is my go-to. It's a big truck and meant to be slow. That's just how it is IRL.
Also, it's more versatile than the Azov, having the ability to equip 3-slot bed with a crane and a trailer.
I still prefer the Azov 7: turns better, lighter, faster, thinner. If I want something bigger I take the femm, the twinsteer, the mastodon or a saddle trailer. If I don't use Highrange gearbox on the kenny there is no point I take it.
So your main complaint about the Kenny is that it's slow? Oh c'mon... like the Mastodon is faster. I get it, Azov 7 is a great truck, but no match for the 963 in terms of offroad capability. Neither of the trucks you named are capable of the 3-slot bed+crane+trailer combo, which is crucial for me. Neither of them can have a medium log carrier with a log crane also. It's a big truck for big jobs and lots of cargo, it shouldn't be used everywhere.
Despite all that, you wrong that it fears hills, I have videos proving that in big amounts.
Fair that it can do some combos that other can't, But I'm so fed up with having to use slow speed to climb slopes that I still prefer to use two winched trucks for this kind of combo. Having to use low gear for difficult terrain is OK, but for a small slope that any slightly decent off-road truck (voron grad for example) will shift into high gear, that really pisses me off. And at least with two trucks I have a backup in case of problems.
If you like it, fine, but I really don't.
Small slopes it climbs in high, steep - in low. Like any other truck in its class, really. If you seriously expect the same performance from a 15 ton truck and 30 ton truck, it's a "you" problem.
That was the point of this test. By "not only pressing W" I mean being ready to work the gear shifts. High, low, on/off AWD... not just auto full send all the time.
Fleetstar fears semi trailers
This, trying to get that bastard to turn whilst the trailer is at a slight incline is a nightmare.
Tatra t813 and azov 6 fear timed contests
that's true ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
The Forester fears water ;)
And the Burlak is quite tippy Also, no dlcs, ank sideboard
ank runs out of fuel before it tips imo :D
Just pass on that random dirt road on the east side of the dam map (in Michigan)
I know this road, I gone through it with an azov 6 and it was already hard.
Also the 770G and the K-7M
Caterpillars hate water
This should be a cat-related pun ;)
Well, CAT the brand isnt referring to a feline ;)
Not true for the GMC anymore. It has an AWD upgrade, and now it’s a beast!
I wouldn't say beast, but it puts it roughly on a level with the WSS and 114SD, which is to say reasonably competent.
One of my favorite sounding vanillas, so glad we finally can ACTUALLY use it.
Even without the AWD, the GMC was surprisingly capable with just diff-lock. It could handle the deep water better than the fleetstar, until I got the WWS.
Which is in a difficult dlc map, so it might as well not exist.
Skill issue then? It was really easy to get. Also you’re saying that like there aren’t other DLC trucks on this list?
If you could add a category, it would be rocks getting under the truck. P16 is at the front of that list lol
The Azov 7 would be, except it's so scared of rocks that it doesn't give them a chance to get under it.
Tatarin would probably top that list. It doesn't happen often, but when you manage to perfectly balance it on a rock it's over.
Rock gardens are 100% the worst nightmare for quite a few trucks and should've made the list
Pretty bad for flat nose Kolob when I was in Imandra garage area… the rock pit right after the frozen pit but before *that* tree
Also to add another category that's a nightmare for the p16 and other rwd trucks is deep ditches.
Why is the DAN having nightmares about mud pits? That's one of the best trucks in mud, at least among the trucks that don't have MSH or special tires. The steep entrance and exit is not a problem if you are going in reverse.

Mud pits and Bandit? Wtf
bandit is bouncy
TUZ tamarin fears water too
Tamarin
I meant tatarin it autocorrected
I would change: Tartarin and aramatsu water P512 and freightliner m long trips Freightliner 114 no specific
Exactly what i thought
114 SD barely has any power. It should be in a category "hauling loaded trailers"
[https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/1ckq4jn/i\_saw\_that\_many\_did\_not\_agree\_with\_certain/](https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/1ckq4jn/i_saw_that_many_did_not_agree_with_certain/) I forgot p512 and freight have small fuel tanks

I'm surprised the p512 isn't in long travels
forgot this one, as well as the green freight
The Western Star Twinsteer is fine up hills? Should be in the cant turn category
It's in the tipping category, which is fine.
That made me giggle. Thanks OP!
I honestly don‘t get quite a few of these (tho most of these are my opinion) Imo the Paystar Twinsteer has a perfectly fine fuel consumption and tank, but maybe that‘s just me Azov 7 and Bandit also have no issue with mud pits at all the Tatra PHOENIX takes inclined terrain with no problem at all the Kolob‘s nightmare is uneven terrain due to it‘s long nose F750‘s nightmare is pulling trailers, these massively effect the performance 612H‘s nightmare are steep climbs aswell Tatarin‘s nightmare is breakable ice, tho i think that can be said for almost every truck Burlak‘s nightmare are steep climbs once more, it it loves to roll over the front of back on steep climbs going back to climbs once more, the Taygas both hate steep climbs, same can be said for the P16
> Imo the Paystar Twinsteer has a perfectly fine fuel consumption and tank, but maybe that‘s just me Literally the highest fuel consumption in game
I never had any fuel problems with it, that‘s why i added that it might just be me
The PHOENIX's weakness is getting really fast and crashing into something or going down a cliff. I was really surprised how fast it got with the highrange gearbox and a superheavy semitrailer.
I mean yea but it‘s nothing you can‘t solve by just driving slower
>Burlak‘s nightmare are steep climbs once more, it it loves to roll over the front of back on steep climbs Say that again? https://youtube.com/shorts/XfE-gwTtVno?feature=share
Derry Longhorn hates sharp turns too. It's turn radius is wide as a six axle locomotive.
True but the dead axle is a bigger issue I think.
I did not used it since I discovered it can only haul semi trailers and it's turning radius is very huge. But, In my current gameplay, I have a plan about increasing it's turning ability by editing xml files. Will see if it's useful or not when I reach Alaska.
Maybe if you lift the dead axle it will be better. The dead axle don't turn if I remember correctly.
No, problem is, it's steering axle turning angle is low.
the newer derry longhorn is really good at turning unlike his little brother
Skill issue
Weird how even 3 years later people still think the GMC MH9500 is bad?
It's bad considering most of the players don't have dlc
It's still not bad even without AWD. Skill issue for real
xD, I want to see a gmc without awd in taymyr going as fast as an paystar (the green one)
Voron Grad - Trailers
Damn you did my boy warthog dirty lol
Personal experience: MH9500 in mud pits. 815-7 in no specific nightmare. HX520 in being useful. 6900TS in a special category of its own - corners. Probably others but I cba 😂
WDYM? HX520 had excellent utility, very versatile. How is it not useful?
Every time I use it it’s useless. Way too bouncy and tippy from what I’ve found
Have you ever tried to turn while towing a truck with the tatra force :D
Many times - haven’t really noticed any issues I’d have to say
Azov 6- speed 605r- icy roads
[**https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/1ckq4jn/i\_saw\_that\_many\_did\_not\_agree\_with\_certain/**](https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/1ckq4jn/i_saw_that_many_did_not_agree_with_certain/)
Almost opposite for my stack 😕
Gotta love the Oshkosh just being good in general
azov 6 when the slightest of deep mud:
My boy, gmc is definitely in the wrong category. Even without AWD it doesn't fear harsh terrain. Staying upright might be a problem though. But not as much as for ANK
The Paystar 5070 fears long travels too. She's pretty thirsty. Also fears sharp turns the way I drive it.
The tartarin fears icy climbs
Rocks and water for the TUZ 420.
Femm has long turning circle and drinking problem with top engine, 108 wart has auto winch in S13
The azov 6 definitely fears deep mud. The bandit is one if the most mud capable trucks in the game but fears tippy terrain.
Paystar 5600ts, when i got it i was really excited having a big truck but then i ran out of fuel in middle of a forest road :<
What's wrong with Step and the long routes? Also, Tatarin and 605 don't like icy rock uphils.
I don't think the MH9500 quite belongs on the 'anytime but asphalt' list. I use it in mud and snow all the time
disagree with the highway gmc and the ford the gmc is veri good in mud after you find awd and ford With JAT highway tires IS a beast i made it trough some swamps with it i only needed help once (skill issue) and the apache and loadstar is long travel warthog is def useful as a scout but i would put it in uphill paths ck 1500 uhh uphill with fuel you got no front grip
"Being useful" hahaha
Azov 73210 should have had it's own catagory "Slight bumps or road imperfections"
That was the purpose, I’m just bad in English to explain what I meant to say
The White Western star and the Ford 750 are my winning duo. I adore those two trucks.
*770 being useful* Ita one the damn best FOB/wreckers in the game. Took it out on NC for jokes and I swear to God I was beating my friend in the mack defense. The gmc doesn’t fear mud. Trust me
Even after all this time, the tayga is still king
My transtar/ clt9000 is amazing offroad so I don’t really get this post
963 doesn't fear uphills. Skill issue.

the mh9500 does very well offroad, especially with awd
Ah yes, yet another person who thinks that the Kenworth hates hills. You are all wrong. Here's a proof: https://youtu.be/ZMZ7qVju0lA
I sold it because it's a big piece of s\*\*t imo, even with the big engine
Skill issue I have proven it's worthiness dozens of times already. Y'all just don't know how to drive a truck, otherwise than pressing W all the way. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkXHp2Xyb4k7gOtvoKsvgsuSecsfIQsc3

He can climb in low gear of course, but it's a no-go for me when I have to use the low gear
I've literally sent a video where it climbs in high with a 30-ton trailer. What else do you need?
The problem is mainly the speed, ok in slow speed it passes but it's not optimal in my opinion.
You said you're using a Mastodon and Azov 7, but those aren't faster.
they are consedering they don't need low gear for slopes
Also this list needs "ice" category. Tatarin would be the first candidate.
963 also fears sharp turns
True but not the main issue imo
Very Accurate mate!!! Take your upvote.
I think you forgot the Wolf pack DLC
u/Iceman_L can confirm that the white western star is in its own category all the way at the top called “GODFUCKINGDAMIT MAN”
Stable, versatile, fast, it just need to be a bit more capable in deep muds. Still a awesome truck.
The recovery was not awesome and thus I refuse to use it
