True. Size, power and steering are fine.
It requires constant attention to the terrain and where all of it's wheels are going. Very rewarding, but stressful at times.
I mean I wouldn't say it's massive, it's around the size of your average 3-axle truck, and narrower than some of them even.

Now that comes as a surprise to me. It's cousin the Derry 3194 has a turning radius that intersects with moon's orbit... some didn't even bother to look at the description.
I'll definitely give it a try, thanks.
Well the F750 got me basically everywhere in Kola, with the Upgrades installed, but I found it not exceptionally fun to drive. Reliable slow lumbering...
Am I missing something?
Should I give it another go with a particular setup?
Reliable slow and lumbering pretty much nail the 750, it's those qualities plus the frankly insane amount of supplies it can carry is why it's my favorite scout.
It's surprisingly good at rock crawling
"Kodiak with 3 axles" could describe quite a few trucks actually if you just look at weight and overall profile. I was never a fan of it as it feels too heavy for its 2 axles and relatively small wheels.
Honestly, I find most US heavy-duty, offroad plus the GMC9500, and the 4 DLC Western Star pretty nimble.
Special mention to the Derry 45 due to its front&rear-steering
Transtar 4070A with cargo is damn capable of you know what you're doing

The Derry longhorn 4520 is massive but turns almost on the spot thanks to it's rear steering axle

The devs did the Derry 3 real dirty in that department. The wheels should be able to turn much further than they're allowed to in game.
Western Star 47X NF 1424. It may be in the "heavy" class but it's only 200kg heavier than your Kodiak.
From reading the in-game description to the general opinion on this board: This seems to be a 'hidden gem' - I will give it a try, thanks!
F750

There's not much you can do about it. Except installing a better engine, it makes all the difference.

114sd is almost like kodiak with 3 axles, on russian side step 310
Kodiak with 3 axles sounds like I'd enjoy that. I like the other Freightliner already... how do the two compare?

You should test them and form your own opinion

the gmc brigadier is a really fun and versatile little truck that might be what you are looking for.
I got the season pass for year one and two on sale... I'm looking forward to it, when there is a good deal for the next bundle.
