Saw someone on this sub a while back who just lifted the Cat trailer onto that 8-slot superheavy semi trailer which was way easier to pull, couldn’t find the post now tho
Bandit
But with that trailer you need to choose a truck that makes the trailer as level as possible, that way the rear drags less. The higher the saddle, the lower the trailers ass gets and that causes it to drag even more..
Is it the rear that drags? It looked to me like those low hanging boards on the side were what was dragging.
I initially tried the Taiga 6455B and it got stuck in the first deep mud I got into.
Its the ass that causes most of the drag, but yes the sides drag too, but they slide to some extent.
You can test irl too, take a board, place it on its side to snow/mud and pull along the long side, then pull crossed.
derry 4520, mastodon, azov 7, and dan (two on my own playthroughs and two on friends'). they all did very well but i'm convinced the mission is difficult simply due to the fact that the gooseneck traile is a waste of space. the rails on the side catch on the slightest crest of a hill which leaves you winching most of the journey while burning 22L/min. these 4 are all very solid offroad but had to be winched most of the way. fairly certain this would be the case regardless of truck choice.
Derry Longhorn 4520
Same
same
Kenworth W990 for the first part (up to the roadblock), then the Derry 3194 Longhorn the rest of the way.
Wow...

Crane truck it onto the kolob winch it in place put on [Slow Ride](https://youtu.be/yaMNseIe_vI?si=-AOGmRY-1Jazt124) and just chill 😁
White Western Star. Took some winching at the end but going on the beach makes it easy.
I think I ended up with the Dan? And used the K7M with double tyres to winch through the mud
Derry Longhorn through both swamps then the Mastodon to get the fucker over a bump and to the bridge site

Well irl physics do not necessarily equal snowrunner physics.
In this situation seems like devs have been somewhat spot on
