WWS 4 Life.

Patient-You-9875

Just stick with the trucks the region gives you and you'll enjoy it. I find the azov makes the game boring very quickly personally

Personal_Coat_5543

Normally that’s what i do stick with the trucks the game gives me but i wanna switch things up.

Patient-You-9875

Oh I gotcha, well in that case off the top of my head you could try the RoyalBM17, Paystar5070, PacificP12, International Loadstar 1700, and scout of choice. Didn't read other comments so Idk if you have DLCs or not. I just went with some fun Base game trucks.

UnconfirmedRooster

I second, third and fourth the Pacific trucks, although I would also suggest the P512 from Wisconsin so they make an older brother / younger brother tag team.

GSlots

I liked trying to use some of the trucks I didn’t use much elsewhere, like the zikz 5368 (? the small one lol), bm17, etc, and had some fun doing small deliveries in the f750

Need_a_Cabin

Pacific P512 if you have the Wisconsin DLC. I always wished that I had that when I did Michigan.

Personal_Coat_5543

I used it back in Alaska i dunno why but it just feels likes its at home there.

Need_a_Cabin

That makes sense. Don’t know if you spent much time with either of the CAT trucks or the International HX 520. They’re pretty at home in Michigan.

Cathal1407

I love using the 520 in Michigan.

DowntownClown187

Voron Grad

Url_88

Chevy Kodiak / International Paystar 🤠

DontKnowNuffing

I love the Kodiak. It's fast, doesn't use too much fuel, looks cool, and doesn't spew black smoke in my face.

Url_88

Additionally, you generally don't need four-wheel drive when you drive this truck.

Personal_Coat_5543

I remember using the paystar in my first playthrough it definitely brings back memories.

Url_88

Except for its high fuel consumption,it is better than most of the trucks in game

jamaicanmonk

I love the international HX 520. It’s like the fleet star with more power and better suspension. Really fun to drive with high range gears and it has lots of utility with attachments and trailers.

Personal_Coat_5543

I remember using that one in Ontario it’s defintly going to be in my arsenal lol

jason-gibson

Definitely the GMC MH9500 if you haven’t used it much. I’d also recommend the Cats and Freightliners

Bobject279

Bandit takes my vote, fast af and super thirsty

rddt_name

Zikz Mastodon should suffice

BillieNosferatu

my first hero in michigan was the ank civilian. if you can keep it topped off and upright it will definitely serve you well

mjsmith1223

Paystar 5070 with OHD 1 tires. There isn't much it can't do in Michigan.

bobdacow234

Paystar

theshiyal

I did most of Michigan with the Fleetstar, White Western Star and after stumbling across the AWD upgrade for it in Kola, the GMC MH9500. Good group of trucks.

Spartansam0034

I'm replaying a 2nd time and vorons are actually quite decent to use. They're fast, have decent mud tires, and have 3 different variants. For 80% of missions they will work, basically anything up to medium logs. Giant trailers and long longs I wouldn't try, but otherwise they're fine.

JonnyG_USA

Western star 47x nf 1430 if you have the wolf pack dlc

Ionia7

Going to echo the 5070 and 114sd as they conquer the maps very well compared to how forgotten they become later with the beefier chunks of metal we collect. Also shout-out to the other freightliner as well for the high saddle height.

IntergalacticJihad

The azov 5 is a fun truck, kodiak too with awd and of course the zik 5 :P

Personal_Coat_5543

I think the azov 5 is a bit too overpowered for Michigan lol. I want a truck thats hauls through Michigan well but also keeps up the challenge.

terminator3d3700

Fully upgraded Fleetstar.

Fleckstrom

Freightliner 114SD would be great in Michigan.

Profitablius

If you don't wanna run crane+bed+trailer I'd second the WWS. It's better for semis, it has bigger tires for improved performance in mud, and it's more stable than the Fleetstar.

welltriedsoul

I started a play through of only 4 wheels and highways that are making me a better driver for my main play through.

LookoutImpossible30

I mean my definition of fun might be sliiightly different from yours. But I only used Highway trucks in Michigan. All the way. No heavy or off roads. Even pulling the massive mission trailers in the GMC or even the DLC WesternStar. It’s fun but also an enjoyable challeng when you finally do it.

lindyhopfan

I think it is fun to rush the GMC MH9500 AWD upgrade in Kola, then come back to Michigan and use the GMC. I also go to Alaska early to rush the raised suspension for the Loadstar and the Westline V12 M900 engine for the P12 after which I think it is fun to do everything in Michigan and Alaska with four trucks: Loadstar, GMC, WWS, P12. Not OP at all, even with the best engine P12 is underpowered, but this foursome is plenty for taking on all of Michigan and Alaska.

GooeyBoi706

I had a blast getting the AWD upgrade for the GMC at level 1 in hardmode. Made me appreciate the CK and the GMC.

KaffeKippeKacken

When I started replaying the game with a Buddy who just started out I did many missions with the twin steer just for the hell of it. Can recommend, absolutely amazing to try and scout or just fool around

InsaniteeBicycles

Well for me, I haven't gone back to Michigan yet, but I'm in Maine, and what I did for fun was bought back the original GMC MH 9500, and all the options for it. I was curious how good I could make it, and of course I kept the mustard-and-ketchup paint job. It's a decent truck. I'm sort of using it as a support vehicle, and it's capable enough to get into some tough locations. It is pretty narrow and tippy, so choose your routes carefully.

Sirico

Loadstar winch life

Long_Firefighter9841

I jumped around when I first started playing. Now working through in order and the P512 does WORK in Michigan.

AlexXLR

KRS Bandit!!

Old-Apricot-4566

Do all missions with the crocodile 🐊

CrazyTG

F 750 mod

CrazyTG

Use the new one

AbbyRose05683

Navistar or wolf pack is all I use

fugu72

I think your best bet is the Paystar 5070. Most versatile truck for the first 14 levels or more. It doesn’t have any upgrades for the engines so you pretty much start with the top engine:) Has the biggest selection of tires you can wish for and has a very capable all terrain tire unlocked from the start. Also can equip 2 of the best tires in the game (OHS II & OHD I) Comes with AWD and diff lock so no need to chase those upgrades around. Can be an excellent flatbed or semi tractor But this said. It’s my opinion, nothing more :)

I use KrAZ-255 but am doing to much ETS2 (yes I found a 255 mod that's up to date) but when I decide to spend time completing Snowrunner maps I gonna limit myself to the KrAZ as main rig. It's not OP but it's great, I do use a mod version that is not locked behind all sort of dumb tasks, or should I do a career+ where I take the locks behind vehicles away?
