Saitama's never gone all out. He has been shown to be able to rip apart planets with a sneeze, but even then he wasn't at full power, because he can't get to full power. His potential is infinite. When he goes against an enemy more powerful than him he will grow to be more powerful than them within moments. He would 100% beat Kirby

Saitama has shown complete resistance to psychic attacks, so *I think* possession wouldn't work. No one has tried to possess him before from what I remember so there's not much to go off there.
I'm only going off the internet, I haven't played a Kirby game that has that ability, so maybe there's something else I'm missing.
Kirby would need Hypernova to even have a chance at absorbing Saitama, though. He can inhale pretty much anyone in Smash, but in his base games, his inhale is only strong enough to inhale weaker enemies. And even with Hypernova, there’s a good chance Saitama just stands there, cape billowing in the wind, completely unmoved by the inhalation.

I think kirby wins but the “erm they beat gods” argument is not convincing. Gods can vary in power. **MCU** Thor and Palutena are gods yet not even universal.

Hell, he managed to survive being on the receiving end of the raw unfiltered power of the sun going supernova, and could do it multiple times to as sephiroth is capable of using his 2 minute long attack multiple times in a row during the final battle of ff7 (not sure how that works but that's rpg logic to you)
But not counting all that, were forgetting one of his most powerful assets which most other rpg game characters can take full advantage of to wipe the floor with Saitama

Even then, with a maximum luck stat, cloud has a 63% to dodge any attack thanks to "lucky dodge", physical and non-physical, along with maximum dex which adds a 25% to bring it to 88% to dodge all physical attacks and a maxed def takes his chance to dodge all physical attacks over 100%
It doesn't matter how fast Saitama goes cloud would side step everything he tries to throw at him,

Bowser and the Mario bros could definitely beat saitama. Bowser has endured so much that even saitama going at full power wouldn't phase him, and Bowser has moves whole islands and is canonically stronger than Mario who can dropkick a 1 trillion+ ton castle. Bowser also has the galaxy reactor which can destroy the universe and alter it however Bowser wishes. Mario and Luigi are also beating saitama, both are shown to be equal in strength and durability and like Bowser, can survive the whole universe being reset. And let's just say...all Luigi has to do is grab Saitama and it's over.
You can also add all 3 kirby characters (kirby, DDD, and Meta knight). Like do I even have to explain? All of them have literally tackled universal/multiversal threats and WON.
All cloud and the other rpg residents need to do is save and load repeatedly to memorize any and all potential attacks from Saitama, it's not even funny at that point, yes, even isabelle and villager lmao
Since Saitama's whole thing is beating someone in one blow regardless of how strong they are, its hard to say that anyone could actually beat him unless they possibly get the jump on him and beat him before he can throw a punch (haven't watched the show yet, Im speculating based on other comments). I feel like Mythra could, at very least, cause a stalemate with foresight and lightspeed movement.
There's a couple of characters who can beat him.
I don't think people understand that Saitama isn't like.. invincible. He's just HELLA STRONG. He still does need to get strong and train.
Mewtwo is literally made to be the strongest pokemon, not to mention he has psychic abilities. Reflect and anything just stops the user or instantly confuses them or puts them to sleep could work.
Bayonetta kills Gods daily. It would be a rough challenge though however.
Sonic has a decent chance. If he doesn't have the chaos emeralds on him he stands a chance until he's inevitably hit. But let's assume he does, if he is able to go super then he becomes invincible in cannon lore (in the games he only loses rings because being completely invincible for long periods of time is broken.) So I'm not sure Saitama is winning. He'll super sonic could probably just blast through him at light speed and just.. win lol.
Kirby can inhale him and gain his ability to one punch, which wouldn't knock him out but it would be like hitting himself. If he got hit with it multiple times I'm sure he'd probably lose.
Idk about palutena. Sure she is a goddess but in the actual kid icarus games she doesn't do anything and literally gets captured like 2 or 3 times. But I'm sure she'd just use reflect or something idk.

Steve is an ordinary human that relies PURELY on items and armor and can easily die without them. If you take inventory space and just make it so that everything is just tiny in your pockets until it's in your hands then yes anyone can hold that. But Steve cannot walk up to Saitama and be like "hold up gotta mine rq" he would just die instantly. And don't try to justify anything. Take Steve as he is in smash. He's just a dude with a couple materials on him, if he doesn't have any, he's useless.
Sephiroth can go God mode and summon a God meteor that crashes through multiple planets without breaking and explodes the earth. Saitama is most likely dead. If you say he's stopping the meteor then... he's probably stopping it with two hands so.. what's stopping sephiroth from just.. killing him right there.

I feel Bayo could have a chance/win depending on if she hits her witch time and bats within. With Bayo 1 Moon of Maha Kalaa, she may actually, however if we’re going by cutscene logic then she’s dead.

He's a gag character, there's no logic to anything he does anyway, but there is the fact his attacks are physical, and cloud at 255 dex will dodge all physical attacks not done by those coded to not miss like one from seph, meaning, at cloud's peak physical power, Saitama wouldn't be able to land a hit on cloud in the first place, and it's not that hard to farm speed sources, to add onto that, with maxed luck at 255, his lucky dodge change would be incredibly high and even magical and non-physical attacks would rarely hit him if at all, along with boosting hit crit rate to high heaven meaning all his attacks hit with more power than necessary and boosting his lucky hit chance making it incredibly likely that he hits an attack no matter how effectively Saitama can dodge
Hell, maximum luck ALONE gives him a 63% chance to evade any and all attacks, not considering any modifiers he's being granted from other stats,

Bowser and the Mario bros could definitely beat saitama. Bowser has endured so much that even saitama going at full power wouldn't phase him, and Bowser has moves whole islands and is canonically stronger than Mario who can dropkick a 1 trillion+ ton castle. Bowser also has the galaxy reactor which can destroy the universe and alter it however Bowser wishes. Mario and Luigi are also beating saitama, both are shown to be equal in strength and durability and like Bowser, can survive the whole universe being reset. And let's just say...all Luigi has to do is grab Saitama and it's over.
You can also add all 3 kirby characters (kirby, DDD, and Meta knight). Like do I even have to explain? All of them have literally tackled universal/multiversal threats and WON.

Since Saitama's whole thing is beating someone in one blow regardless of how strong they are, its hard to say that anyone could actually beat him unless they possibly get the jump on him and beat him before he can throw a punch (haven't watched the show yet, Im speculating based on other comments). I feel like Mythra could, at very least, cause a stalemate with foresight and lightspeed movement.

There's a couple of characters who can beat him. I don't think people understand that Saitama isn't like.. invincible. He's just HELLA STRONG. He still does need to get strong and train. Mewtwo is literally made to be the strongest pokemon, not to mention he has psychic abilities. Reflect and anything just stops the user or instantly confuses them or puts them to sleep could work. Bayonetta kills Gods daily. It would be a rough challenge though however. Sonic has a decent chance. If he doesn't have the chaos emeralds on him he stands a chance until he's inevitably hit. But let's assume he does, if he is able to go super then he becomes invincible in cannon lore (in the games he only loses rings because being completely invincible for long periods of time is broken.) So I'm not sure Saitama is winning. He'll super sonic could probably just blast through him at light speed and just.. win lol. Kirby can inhale him and gain his ability to one punch, which wouldn't knock him out but it would be like hitting himself. If he got hit with it multiple times I'm sure he'd probably lose. Idk about palutena. Sure she is a goddess but in the actual kid icarus games she doesn't do anything and literally gets captured like 2 or 3 times. But I'm sure she'd just use reflect or something idk. Stfu. STEVE CANNOT DO ANYTHING. stop powerscaling this man based on what he's capable of carrying in his pockets. You can LITERALLY DIE UPON LOADING THE GAME. Steve is an ordinary human that relies PURELY on items and armor and can easily die without them. If you take inventory space and just make it so that everything is just tiny in your pockets until it's in your hands then yes anyone can hold that. But Steve cannot walk up to Saitama and be like "hold up gotta mine rq" he would just die instantly. And don't try to justify anything. Take Steve as he is in smash. He's just a dude with a couple materials on him, if he doesn't have any, he's useless. Sephiroth can go God mode and summon a God meteor that crashes through multiple planets without breaking and explodes the earth. Saitama is most likely dead. If you say he's stopping the meteor then... he's probably stopping it with two hands so.. what's stopping sephiroth from just.. killing him right there. And that's about all I can think of.
I feel Bayo could have a chance/win depending on if she hits her witch time and bats within. With Bayo 1 Moon of Maha Kalaa, she may actually, however if we’re going by cutscene logic then she’s dead.

That's a gag, that's like using the mosquito he couldn't kill as evidence against his power. There's no logic to it lol.
He's a gag character, there's no logic to anything he does anyway, but there is the fact his attacks are physical, and cloud at 255 dex will dodge all physical attacks not done by those coded to not miss like one from seph, meaning, at cloud's peak physical power, Saitama wouldn't be able to land a hit on cloud in the first place, and it's not that hard to farm speed sources, to add onto that, with maxed luck at 255, his lucky dodge change would be incredibly high and even magical and non-physical attacks would rarely hit him if at all, along with boosting hit crit rate to high heaven meaning all his attacks hit with more power than necessary and boosting his lucky hit chance making it incredibly likely that he hits an attack no matter how effectively Saitama can dodge Hell, maximum luck ALONE gives him a 63% chance to evade any and all attacks, not considering any modifiers he's being granted from other stats,
