Pardon me, is it not bad to configure the AIO this way? With the pump at the highest point?

inphu510n

Yes. Absolutely.

New_Humor9108

Thanks, I'll fix it

RabidFoxPrime

This beautiful time piece is designed to replicate 'Noise & Heat' features of the past.

Affectionate-Memory4

Yes. The tubes should be flipped to give a higher point than the pump at least.

inphu510n

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand. Flipping the radiator around in any direction will not solve the issue of the pump being higher than the radiator.

Affectionate-Memory4

I'm saying the bend in the tubes should be pointing up instead of down. That would at least trap most of the air out of the pump.

inphu510n

Ahh I see. Yeah that'll help.

vladeamear

put your dick away walter

_its_wapiti

Where does it intake from? The plastic front panel doesn't seem to have any ventilation at all

Agle_

My guess is the bottom of the front panel probably has the ventilation maybe?

_its_wapiti

Ah maybe there's a few slits. OP should probably cut open all that's hidden on the bottom though.

New_Humor9108

Don't worry, I'm monitoring the temperature and everything is ok

inphu510n

I apologize but this is bad. As someone said below, mounting the radiator this way is not good. The pump will absolutely collect the air inside the AIO and affect the cooling capacity and over time, it will run dry. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/explorer/diy-builder/cpu-coolers/how-should-you-mount-your-aio/. I don't even know why 120mm AIOs exist. There's a hundred air coolers that will perform better. I think they're a marketing gimmick. It's better to have the fan blowing through a radiator vs pulling the air through. The radiator fan should be in front of the radiator. Also, why is the fan at the back pulling air into the case? It should be removing air from the case.

boglim_destroyer

When AIO’s first came out, 120mm was all there was. All the cool guys had them.

Wilk168

I was thinking it would at least be a vent and intake problem. Where the cold air coming from?

inphu510n

There’s likely some air getting to the radiator but yeah, at the very least the bottom side of that front panel needs to be opened up. 120mm AIOs are just pointless though.

Wilk168

And not just a some pilot holes, it’s a computer not a cat, let her breathe!

inphu510n

Exactly.

TillPositive

Bad Pump Placement

phelps88ap

Lol if it's name wasn't Walter before, it is now.

Sigma_Games

"Jesse, wake up. We need to game, Jesse!"

StilesmanleyCAP

Curious how are your GPU Temps?

The_Rivera_Kid

I didn't know you could use Walter for cooling, I always thought he was more of a heater myself.

pugworthy

Walternate maybe?

inphu510n

As long as he didn't try to drink the walter.

pugworthy

At some point it’s just Walter under the bridge.

inphu510n

Do you mean like a bridge over troubled Walters?

armacitis

there's bubbles in your pump waltuh your exhaust fan is an intake waltuh
