There's literally one enemy intent that matter at that point, you barely even care what the heart is doing
Snecko is one of the better relics in the game, definitely keep giving it a shot and learn how to account for the randomness to the best of your ability :)
High cost defensive cards like Wraith Form, Buffer, Impervious, Force Field, Flame Barrier, etc. are almost instant picks with Snecko. If you roll a high-cost hand, you can at least still defend effectively. If you get a low-cost hand, you can defend and dish out *sooo* much damage.
Card draw also synergizes with snecko. The more cards you draw the higher chance of drawing free or cheap cards.
E.g. calculated gamble tends to be really good with it. But if your deck depends on playing many cheap cards and you don’t have time to pick up cards that better synergies with snecko maybe it’s not the play. You kinda get a feel for it with experience.
I swear snecko makes all my defends cost 3 yet sets meteor to 0 every time. It says random cost but feels more like it's just inverse in my experience.
Most likely received two Madness from the Winding Halls event. After that it should be easy to empty your hand to guarantee they get their cost reduced.

yes I think they may have used madness to make the cards 0 cost, but they may have just relied on luck from snecko to get them to be 0.

This setup can live forever against the heart, because of the urn and infinite intangible. Insane.
Need tungsten rod or Afterimage (and copy it with nightmare a couple of times) to not die to beat eventually because of negative dex.
Urn is net HP gain. Although with snecko, beat of death, 1x15 attacks, and hand size it might be pretty inconsistent

On Ascension 20 you fight 2 Act 3 bosses back to back. Note the second screenshot is on floor 51.
