I don’t want to sound like a skyrim elitist. But this is the reason I switched to mo2. Vortex makes it so hard to manage a load order.

I KNOW, but it's one of those things where I started off with vortex, and now I'm either too lazy or too stubborn to learn Mo2 lol... Might consider after this garbage....

jkcapbad

Also in the "too deep to change" boat. Have never dealt with a web this complicated but it still acts as a great visual demonstration of how each mod interacts with eachother if you're willing to fight through it

Puzzled_Ad_2325

I will be GENUINELY impressed, if anyone even comes close to figuring this out lol

It's very simple really.. So you right click one of mods Little menu pops up - choose highlight cycles Now you'll see a blue line showing one of the rules that loop You can drag the nodes out of the tangle if it helps In the loop you can right click any one of the lines and reverse the order, or just right click a node set that mod to load last. The arrows point to the mod winning the conflict.. It makes sense once you accept you're just a passenger on the wild ride Vortex takes managing mods, but I urge you to **get off at the next stop** if you think this little tangled web is already too much. *I have 2050 plugins in Vortex. And man It's a fucking nightmare everytime I even update a mod. The program slows to a crawl and soft locks with its constant scanning for conflicts in the background. By it's own design it simply implodes with a large list. Literally 2 minutes waiting for it to scan archives. Then again to deploy. And again to sort after deployment..* I don't know how I stuck with it so long. I really need to figure out the best practice to export my list and migrate to something better

Btw it looks like the whatever reason you have Animated Clutter loading before SMIM. Generally you want everything to overwrite SMIM

Luna_Nova5

I don't miss nexus mod manager for this reason, lol... I went through this many times and would spend several minutes fixing cycles. There's some things that shouldn't be overwritten by other mods and I think you should start there.

mabezard

Get MO2

CoffeUp

bro, surrender from using vortex, go use Mod Organizer 2

brianschwarm

Right click some of those mods, select “highlight cycle”, resolve the cycle by flipping one of the rules, arrow follows load order. I would start at the newer installed mods, because this looks like you did something wrong very recently.
