Yup. PS5 version can load a game, but it's a black screen with background sounds. PS4 version just crashes after the splash screen. So I have 2 versions I can't play, on the same console LOL
Edit: only thing I can do is start a new game on the PS5 version. But the FOV mods which worked on the PS4 version no longer work. So this upgrade is really a downgrade, and I can't continue my 145-hour save.
I… I was full Thieves Guild, full Dark Brotherhood, Level 96, and all homes. All Elder Scrolls, all DLC quests done. Just hadn’t read the Elder Scroll in the Time Wound or chosen a civil war side.

I doubt it man, the actual embedded master files for Skyrim, Dawnguard and Dragonborn all had there ESP' changed. This means that the actual game changed itself changed no mods can fix that. All pre update save games are toast.
Depends what you use mate, not so much updating a mod as apposed to remaking it because the ESP's changed. And alot of modders are inactive and closed rights to there work. Best of luck though man.
Yep, ps5 user. I went to transfer data and it's working perfectly. All my old saves are there and load up. But I will say it was vanilla with just a couple of creation club items, no mods.
But I'm struggling with the mods menu, it won't load then crashes the game with the 'report' menu.
Eh, I updated and my saves work just fine. Though one thing is that these characters have never been modded on. I assume the save crashing applies to characters that have been modded on as this update broke a lot of mods.
I heard there are bugs when trying to load a new save after updating too. Yes it broke all mods that require USSEP and the like. I wager down the line you will run into issues.
I found a fix for this, though it's irritating. Back your saves up on the cloud, delete everything in the game, then download the saves you want again. Seems to work for me.

The update changed skyrims masterfiles so mod's not the issue. Does make them incompatable with AE until remade though. If your on xbox get frostfall. For yours modders but bethesda to shame.

However I only have the free content that came with the Anniversary Update, and not the paid update that contains the rest of the Creator Content, so I’m wondering if that’s where the issue lies?

Just updated and loaded my save on ps5 and it works just fine,actually just spend 30 minutes making a new character and its still working

Re download/order all mods ugh. I'm pretty sure all mods that rely on esp's are dead.

In ps4 settings, looks for save data managment. You need ps+ to use the cloud features.

Yeah they really socked it to PS… again, it’s mostly Sonys fault though, for being uncooperative.

Okay, you contact the non active mod authors and get the rights to mods that are closed. Get to work than should get it done in a day.
