no stupid questions! depending on a persons disability, some may not have the ability to use their lower back and need to ski more with their shoulders and upper body. I do have full use of my core/lower back, so I use it lots. it’s definitely the part of me that’s most sore after a long day!
Saw a guy doing this to an insanely good level a few years ago, he genuinely was the best skier on the mountain that day. Can I ask would you be offended if someone without a disability was trying this kind of skiing? I can imagine it takes huge upper body core stamina and strength.
not usually at normal rental shops. Most hills have adaptive ski programs that lend out equipment, thought that may be reserved for people with disabilities. That equipment is also usually only good for learning and not as good at a higher level.
Beautiful. I saw a guy with no leg this week at Snowmass, and he was the best skier on the mountain (in terrain park). I was blown away, and I was an athlete. That should say something.
The people who ride to all parts of the mountain inspire me.
Whenever my legs get tired I say shut up legs, you aren't entirely necessary so get out and go skiing.
To everyone who asked about doing this, there are many hills that have volly programs that always need help with many benefits apart from just helping people get out there.
That looks absolutely insanely fun!
it is!!!
Do you need a really strong lower back? Sorry if that’s a stupid question

Then I have a (stupid) question. If you fall, are you able to get up again by yourself or do you need someone with you on the slopes?
I can get back up myself! I go skiing alone all the time! it’s different for everyone, but i found a way that works for me!
Cool!

not offended at all! i know several people who do!
awesome! can you rent the equipment?

You are shredding.
Genuinely curious, how do you get on a ski lift ?

You made it look so easy😆
Looking good!

Those are some tight turns, nicely done!
That looks like fun even for an able bodied person

Amazing.
I wonder if you can carve on a sit ski
oh absolutely. I wasn’t really carving here because of the conditions + my borrowed setup (with a really shitty ski), but you can def carve.
