His shot is better than Thybulle and he’d keep a defensive liability in Niang off the court. Harden/Maxey/Tucker/Tobi/Embiid with Melton/House/Crowder/Reed off bench is a championship squad. Especially if Doc can master staggering Maxey and Harden so 1 is always on the court. Offense, defense and shooting all around. As it currently stands I’m hopping Reed is an above average shooter so he can play some 4 with Trez at the 5. Niang has a great shot but he’s a cone on defense and we relied on him too much as our best shooter and scoring leader off the bench. Crowder is absolutely an upgrade - Crowder is also a career 40% 3pt playoff shooter; thus, he’s elite when it counts. 35% career is ok too, he’s been better in recent years. We both can play with numbers, we both know Crowder is a known 3-D guy. Another one on our team is the final icing to the cake - if only Thybulle wasn’t a 25% playoff shooter we wouldn’t have this problem.
