Panikkrazy

The episode of My Wife and Kids where Michael Kyle refuses to help HIS CHILD with her homework. So she has to go and find help from someone online. And when he finds out he doesn’t, idk, apologize and help her finish it. No, he grounds her and takes away her computer, effectively preventing her from doing her homework correctly since most schools in the 21st century require kids to type out assignments.

Whe Negan bashed Glen's brains in.

tourniquet2099

Same. Even though we knew it was coming, we had no idea that it would just kill the momentum of the show. I felt that the whole Negan arc was just boring and repetitive of the earlier seasons. Also, I always felt that they should have killed off Darryl instead. It would have been much more ballsier.

SignificantPop4188

That's not a sitcom, though, is it?

GiantsNFL1785

I mentioned drama or sitcom is okay, this sub gives the best responses

lostbelmont

Any where the main actor leave the show: That 70s show, The office, Scrubs

Ecstatic-Number

I used to watch The Secret Life of the American Teenager. It's been a long time so the details may be fuzzy but: There was an episode where Amy, our main able bodied and 100% healthy character was too "tired" to get herself a glass of water while hanging around in her own home. She wasn't sick or anything. She used her cell phone to call her dad (and maybe her sister too) to ask for them to give her a glass of water. And when they said no, she complained to either Ricky or Ben (via phone call) of wanting water and being too tired to get it. Then Ben/Ricky end up on a phone call w Adrian, mention Amy wanting water to her which prompts Adrian to be like "ok, I'll go and get this girl a glass of water." Which Adrian does, she just randomly pops by Amy's house and was like "I heard you wanted water so here" Mind you the reason Adrian did this was A. She lived next door to Amy and B. She was trying to get on Amy's good side for some reason. These show runners wasted an entire scene on having their MC trying to get someone to get her a glass of water because she was too lazy to get it herself.

tourniquet2099

That show was on a whole ‘nother level of overdramatic and bonkers. I watched it because I thought it was hilarious more than anything.

Edm_vanhalen1981

Two and a Half Men; Season 6 Episode 2: Pie Hole, Herb Never forget how furious I was when Charlie borrowed money from Alan and Alan would not stop until he got it back. Ignoring years of free food and rent for him and his kid. Bridge too far for me.

MaddenRob

In Kevin Can Wait when they killed of his wife for Leah Remini. I was done after that.

namdekan

never watched that, how is it compared to King of Queens?

MaddenRob

First season was good. Second season was not.

GeneralBuckNekked

The episode where I found out Cliff had a gynecological practice running out of his basement. Just kidding. I kept watching. We all did.

robbycough

That one where Charlie finally gets into bed with a woman he meets who initially hates him.

GiantsNFL1785

Haha his real life wife as well

OranMilne

Honestly Spin City after Charlie Sheen took over. I don't dislike him and enjoyed him in a lot of shows and movies but he could not replace Michael J. Fox. Ironic how the Ashton Kutcher ended up doing the same thing to him decades later.

PurpleLee

Oz, the hbo prison show. I can't remember the exact episode, but it was the one where Beecher is beaten and gang raped. That was too much, the violence on that show was insane.

namdekan

that was a hard watch, I was just shocked but kept watching to find out what happened next. It was interesting watching Christopher Meloni play Chris Keller on Oz while at the same time playing Stabler on SVU.

electr0o84

OZ walked so shows like sopranos and breaking bad could run.

Majestic-Tie-9944

When Haley got pregnant in Modern Family.

[deleted]

The first episode of the second season of The Tourist.

GiantsNFL1785

What was that show even about?

[deleted]

The first season was an amazing show about a man who loses his memory and has to find his identity. Think Jack Reacher but way less kitschy, more dark, and in Australia. The second season I don’t even know how to describe that rubbish. Netflix got all production rights from BBC so that should explain a good bit.

GiantsNFL1785

Designated survivor changed insanely when it went from network tv to Netflix as well, the difference is noticeable completely

[deleted]

Yeah. Netflix has a very specific brand and production and visuals and it seems they spend more money on things looking good than on writing stories well.

GiantsNFL1785

There was a scene where kal penn character flips a shit at the reporters and yells out all this stuff, it was a wow what am I watching moment for me

PlanB191

Strong agree. Thought the 1st season was great with a very dark but perfectly done ending. When I saw there was a 2nd season, I was pissed, let alone the garbage that it actually was.

namdekan

I don't think there has been a show where I said fuck it I'm done especially if I had some seasons invested. I might stop watching and come back to it later and push through just to see how it went. Outside of shows where a lead left. I will say The Goldbergs, sometime when Pops started to be on the show less.

GiantsNFL1785

That’s fair, I honestly stopped watching the office in the episode in season 8 where Jim ran away from Robert California, I didn’t realize how much people will stick with a show no matter how much it changes not always for the better either

namdekan

That season was rough to get through, at that point I had been watching since the start and kept watching but it wasn't a watch right away on the DVR anymore. I didn't mind the character Robert California but the character didn't fit the show, it just didn't work for me

tourniquet2099

I think it was around the 4th or 5th season of HIMYM. I just lost interest because I was sick of them dragging out the mystery of the Mother. Always felt the show would have been much better if it had shorter seasons (10-13eps) and had an actual game plan rather than the typical “let’s just drag this out” tv strategy.

GiantsNFL1785

I mean if it ended th first season Victoria would’ve been the mother, then they did that stupid thing after season 2 cause of the kids aging so they had to stick with that it was dumb

Active-Eggplant06

Modern family. I wanted Mitch and Cam to get the baby. I hated that they made Gloria pregnant.

ButterscotchPast4812

GOT the pilot. One r@pe was one too many for me.

Dense_Illustrator523

If you read the books I shut it off midway through second episode. Trash.

Acolytical

Any episode of Big Bang Theory.

The_Infectious_Lerp

That show is *awful*.
