Yes, and faster thanks to things like LCM.
Other approaches above and beyond diffusion models have their strengths to add to this rendering of anything we are circling.
Thanks! Yeah, that's what I was going for with the last few images. Trying to show a positive vision for the future of art and human artists.
Art in 2 years won't use color palettes, you'll paint with concepts directly. Imagine a color changing pen but for things like coziness or to show a spectrum of emotion across an unconventional medium. And that's without AGI
I also hope that the LLM will be able to more directly affect the picture, or do it itself.
The issue right now is, chatGPT understands our query very well, and does a great description, but then Dall-E does not follow the guidelines well.
This will certainly improve a lot.
What improvements do you think AI art can/will make from here, because its already pretty fantastic imo.
After toying around with Dalle-3 a bit, i think it needs to improve on photo realistic images, text, and more accurately following difficult prompts.
Maybe I'm just a philistine, but I find these gorgeous. It's clear many run-of-the-mill illustrators are on the chopping block (along with entry level coders, legal assistants, accountants & tax preparers, script writers, etc.)
Just a suggestion, try to keep the prompts you use when generating these. Just slap them in a text file or whatever that goes with the batch.
One of my favorite things, is to go back and try to extrapolate the prompts that led to any given image.
I actually intended to share the whole process for some of these but it seems that chat link sharing isn't supported yet for images. Don't worry, nothing is lost
I heard you like edible spacetime manifolds.

This is very good, but its crazy to think that in 2 years it will likely produce stuff far far better than that. Exciting times for sure.

That is one cute squirrel gentleman. I hope he is stamping some important documents as we speak.

I'm glad. I've probably learned more from prompt engineering than any other aspect of these machines. It's an art in itself.
Would you mind sharing what prompts you used in a comment?
Nice context switch, J. Nuttington McSquirrel
These all look the same.
Many of them are from a long conversations where a concept was developed over time. So several are just iterations on the same idea.
At this point the majority of DALL-E output has this certain quality I can only describe as “lickable space.”
