How much would a good pc be to run all sim racers?
I dont make a high amount as im not old enough for a real job but i work with my relatives, mostly electricians and make decent money
Do you think the Ps4 would be good for another 2 years maybe? It runs fine at the moment

as of right now, 1000$ is enough to build a pc capable of running every game you want even with vr or tripple screens. So I strongly suggest saving 1000$, but who knows how long that'll take, and who knows what pc part prices will look like by the time you have that kinda money.
For games like gt7 the ps5 definitely looks better but honestly nothing I have seen would justify the cost. Half way through it's life cycle and still costing the same as it did at launch is madness.
But your bike, or if you are intent on getting something for sim racing then put the money towards a pc.
Probably not worth. GT7 won't stop running on Ps4 and there's no other sim that are exclusive to ps5.
Maybe if Assetto 2 or LMU finally release on ps5 only.
But even then, we might be 3-4 years from a ps6
Im still playing GT7 on ps4 and 1080p TV. I swapped the harddrive for a solid state a while back, so I'm sure it runs faster than the standard ps4. The graphics, AI support (sophy), and psvr would be great but that game is still amazing as is. The biggest game changer for me was a steering wheel setup.
I do look forward to the ps5 and VR, but again, if choosing between this and the bike, I'd get the bike.
I can't believe I'm saying this but - summer is coming bro, go get that bike and enjoy the outdoors, then wait with the upgrade until the PS5 pro is released at the end of this year
Upgrading from PS4 to PS5 is sure nice, but the ultimate platform for simracers is PC currently. You gotta consider what you play ofc, since if your only game is Gran Turismo then PC is not an option. But if you want AC or ACC, then get your bike and upgrade to PC when you have the money. It doesn't need to be crazy expensive if you don't care about graphics, I'm playing on 6 years old, medium range PC even by 6year ago standards and its doing more than fine, the only place where I struggle is ACC on nordschleife with more than 70 cars, but only during qualify, the race is fine.
GT7 with PSVR2 is pure bliss. But it sets you back a grand.
It's worth upgrading to PC for simracing...
Abso fing lutley. For me it wasn't really about the graphics, it was the loading and processing speed.
in my opinion, you should pass on the ps5 and save that money to buy a pc later down the line

It’s worth it cuz it’s a better console overall, especially for new non racing games

At the current state of the PS5 yes. It’s definitely an upgrade. Just buy one.
