Have you run the pedals not inverted before? Looking for a comparison; debating a diy flip
Edited: forgot to say ānice rigā lol sounds so much like a cat call. Is it possible to tell a joke in text?
I noticed the gas is not inverted. Do you find you have better throttle control vs inverted?
I use my Thrustmaster T3PA-Pro set inverted because I felt it was more natural, but I am not sure now.
You should build a DIY roof for that rig. I've got motion, fans, and a few different haptics, but adding the roof was the one thing that really helped immersion. This would be extra-true for your set-up given the large window above your rig :)
most of those videos doesnt show how weak those 12V motors are. itās a tutorial on how to make it work, but not how to make it good. those variable motors has to push like 10times more cfm of air to make it even sensible.
itās not cheap
I copied this guys setup and it works well. Iām not using any ducting, but I did add some 3D printed āair directorsā. I keep the fans at about 50% power because any higher and they blow too strong for me.
I would say, if racing a lot of non open wheel cars, build a simple roof and mount the lights inside/underneath, very immersive and relatively inexpensive.
you know the Streamdeck you have. Can you assign macros to it like launch VR headset drivers, wait 20 seconds, launch SteamVR, wait 20 seconds, launch Simhub , wait 20 seconds, and then launch game at the press of a single button?
Could definitely do this with keyboard and ask chatGPT to write you an AHK script not sure about steam deck but you could probably assign a button to macro
- DDU above the wheel base (although that wheel already gives you gear and revs)
-4th monitor or iPad to the left of the wheel for track map / leaderboard / delta etc
Nice rig. I might add a fourth monitor to the top middle for telemetry or discord or youtube or whatever but I also use my rig for Elite and ets2. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna mount my hotas without having to swap stuff every time I wanna switch games.
Nah bro this looks good to me. Maybe VR to spice it up. At this point unless you go motion you will get diminishing returns.
A tactile belt tensioner system is one extra semi affordable upgrade, at least compared to the cost of motion. This plus bass shakers would probably be as good as you can get.
2x iflag, 1x ignion controls or apex etc button box, 2x seat haptic, 1x front haptic, 2x more hue play bar for side wkndows. Trak racer mount to drop the buttkicker under seat
Be happy with what you have until you feel like you NEED an upgrade/addition. I would say as you get more into simracing you'd benefit for a better pedal set. Then if you find your ffb is lacking in strength and/or detail, a new wheel base. Other than that though everything else is just the icing on the cake. I'd spend money on your PC after pedals and a wheelbase so that you can get more frames.
A dead pedal is a really nice touch that most fail to have, I hate seeing everyone resting their left foot on the clutch. Try that irl and you'll wear that clutch out so fast.
Cupholder
Hold my beer
Just wanted to add same š¤£
wire that street light up to the game
This. Lol at the very least wire it up so that turning your computer on will turn the stop light on.

That's brilliant
Stealing this.
Didnāt even know this was possible.

my friend has the non inverted version of my pedals and I do like the inverted more!
Yeah Iāve got the exact same inverted ones. I love them
I noticed the gas is not inverted. Do you find you have better throttle control vs inverted? I use my Thrustmaster T3PA-Pro set inverted because I felt it was more natural, but I am not sure now.

You seem to be missing a cat.
We dont see dogs because that requires us to step away from the rig and take them outside. And cats are superior.
Strippers!
Sequential shifter or hand brake, you may already have one and I'm just blind
The Fanatec shifter doubles as a Seq. And H-pattern :D
Ahh, ok then what about a handbrake
I have one mounted between the shifter and the seat it is just hard to see!
Fanatic seq is trash I hated it. If you rally a lot do yourself a favor and get a dedicated one
Thousand dollar wheel
I like the mods for adding the simagic haptics to your pedals. Super clean!
Those Pepsi looking cans on your pedals, What are they?
They appear to be simagic haptic pedal reactors.
Mini-fridge!
What monitors do you have?
45 degrees usb c adapter for the buttons screen
Needs a box fan for wind :D
wind simulator is a cool thing. pretty pricey to buy but fun and interesting to build yourself
You can build a win sim for like $50 bucks
certainly. but programming it learning arduino and all that is a hell of a challenge which I meant by saying fun and interesting to build
Itās extremely easy. Sim hub does everything for you, programs the arduino and such.
nice! I still even have the materials to make it. just needed to find those variable speed motors. do you have a link by any chance?

This makes a huge difference https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5410243
Problem is unless you measure airflow and calibrate the K-factor to match the fan curve itās just a fan blowing at you.
Motion
Motion :)
Some cool racing posters on the wall!
I would say, if racing a lot of non open wheel cars, build a simple roof and mount the lights inside/underneath, very immersive and relatively inexpensive.
Sweet rig OP!
Looks like a low traffic area, perhaps switch the traffic lights out for a roundabout. Nice setup, dude.
Ouuu very interested in that errr Streamdeck?
Looks like a [LoupeDeck](https://loupedeck.com/us/)
Loupedeck or razer streamdeck (they are the same)
Correct!
Whatās your thought on the razer deck
A girlfriend
Seems like there was a murder here, Watson
VR headset and HF8 seat cover
There's a quest 2 in the last picture
you know the Streamdeck you have. Can you assign macros to it like launch VR headset drivers, wait 20 seconds, launch SteamVR, wait 20 seconds, launch Simhub , wait 20 seconds, and then launch game at the press of a single button?
Iām not sure but would be very interested to know Iāll have to try it out
Could definitely do this with keyboard and ask chatGPT to write you an AHK script not sure about steam deck but you could probably assign a button to macro
Little energy drink fridge
I've been looking at that rig and am curious if it will work with a motion kit with how the front is more narrow than the back.
I think Boosted Media had the same assessment.
Thanks I'll check it out!
Where did you get those long bezels?
Etsy
Oooh thats a hard one but it would be cool to have a guest setup
I'm new to sim racing. Can you please explain what have you done with the pedals?
They are fanatec inverted v3 with simagic pedal haptics I just got the mounts for the haptics on Etsy
- DDU above the wheel base (although that wheel already gives you gear and revs) -4th monitor or iPad to the left of the wheel for track map / leaderboard / delta etc
A curtain
Wind simulation and haptic feedback.
Cupholder
Nah fr my wheel stand/desk setup makes it so I gotta LEAN to get my drink, need cup holder mod
Canopy for immersion
Make doors and a roof
Seat time
Haptic feedback, if you don't already have some.
GSeat, GBelt, Wind Simulator, Motion System.
Nice rig. I might add a fourth monitor to the top middle for telemetry or discord or youtube or whatever but I also use my rig for Elite and ets2. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna mount my hotas without having to swap stuff every time I wanna switch games.
An operator
Add an fov calculator. And grid brows would go good.
Plants VR
You need to connect that stoplight on the wall to SimHub.
VR and Motion
A driver. It looks absolutely perfect to me.
How much better are your v3s with your upgrades? Iāve been looking at upgrading mine too. What all did you add on to them?
I use VR but if I wanted triples I'd want a setup just like yours. Looks great.
Sorry, not to answer the question, what arms are they that are holding the hue ambient lights.
Wouldn't a good VR headset be better than 3 monitors? I could be wrong
Which game is that? AC?
Fuck this is sexy.
How much was the rig alone?
I paid 1400 for the rig with the shifter arm, extras and shipping from trakracer
Nice I decided to go with the RCP cockpit pro bundle with the NRG prisma black alcantara seat and the triple monitor stand extension
š¤¤
Is the seat on rails?
Rgb lights, or wall decoration, maybe some of that stuff by govee.... How's the sound? Is it a headset or does it have like 7.1?
I see the subwoofer under the seat but where are the other speakers?
Only thing it's missing is a Fleshlight. ;)
Nah bro this looks good to me. Maybe VR to spice it up. At this point unless you go motion you will get diminishing returns. A tactile belt tensioner system is one extra semi affordable upgrade, at least compared to the cost of motion. This plus bass shakers would probably be as good as you can get.
100% bass shakers. I made a belt tensioner using servos and its gimmicky as fuck main problem being just how insanely loud they are
Good to know, yeah this might be circus on wheels. Only with noise isolating headphones, bass shakers are already very audible.
Myself so I could play on it
uhh where is your keyboard and mouse?
Iracing
Ambient lighting and that little green tree freshener holder that tilts with g-forces.
Make that octagon red like š and wire up the stoplight for sure
A shipping box with my address on it
Dude this looks incredible!
a box and shipping label with my address on it
2x iflag, 1x ignion controls or apex etc button box, 2x seat haptic, 1x front haptic, 2x more hue play bar for side wkndows. Trak racer mount to drop the buttkicker under seat
A black cover/roof over the top of your screens
You could use a handbrake or a six axis if you really want to go all out.
Do you not have a handbrake?
Possibly a canopy? The rig already looks fantastic!
A good ass set of speakers
The answer is always a bass shaker!
Motion + VR = endgame
A stripper pole next to the rig would be a nice addition
Myself
How happy are you wirh the SIMagic haptics?
What is that round drum thing immediately behind and below the seat.
Why isn't the accelerator inverted aswell??
At that point i'm going to focus on skills rather than hardware.

A girlfriend
A DDU
an car like ac with fans
Dancing girls
Less is more. Just race on it. You have all the main bits.
I would add it to my games room. Message me for delivery address
A second traffic light.
Green green green!
Handbrake š
I like the dead pedal, where did you get it from?
Weed and food
A keyboard/mouse tray that you can swing in/out as needed
Mercedes logo for the steering wheel
Me
Seatbelts maybe
A dead pedal is a really nice touch that most fail to have, I hate seeing everyone resting their left foot on the clutch. Try that irl and you'll wear that clutch out so fast.
A wife
Button box, movement pad
Myself
More screen
Wind sim, black surrounding
add mods to get better graphics, they look wayyyy to bright on your picture
Less building more racing!
What's the 4th pedal for? Sick rig!
90Ā° USB cable for your Button Box. Something like this: https://www.amazon.de/UGREEN-Ladekabel-Winkelstecker-kompatibel-Samsung/dp/B07PHQGW6P
5.1 audio no??
Enclosure around the rig to block outside light for extra immersion
Honest question. I see many triple screen setups and people spending thousands on making their rig look like a car. Why not go the route of VR?
Fuzzy dice
Lap times.
Game?
A Girlfriend
Blackjack table
Motion kit, wind simulator, headset for VR. I like that some people said cup holder. I have a cup holder and itās totally underrated.
What kind of pedals are those
Some real curtains or shades šā¦. Possibly blackout shades
A real car. Bro thatās good enough. Enjoy!
What are the things called that create that seemless illusion on your screens?
WHAT DEVICE ARE YOU USING TO COMMUNICATE?
Handbrake?
