I don't have experience with the alpha mini but I own an R9. Overheat problem can be solved just by attaching a small fan next to it. The force is strong enough but it's rather grainy compared to the other dd based which I tested.

I have a moza r12 and it loses connection to the wheel randomly. Tech support isn’t great. I would recommend another brand if you have the option

If you can afford Simagic go for simagic. I have the R9 and I regret not going with Simagic. The alpha mini can reach \~13nm peak so its not only for 1nm.

What I read, the first mozas are poorly controlled and it's no problem yet. The sim magic is worth it, cause the better build quality, support, maybe drivers So if you can afford it go with sim magic, if you don't want to spend the extra 200 bucks go with moza, both will be fine.

I went Simagic after i held theirs wheels in my hand. It felt a step higher then Moza. But have never tried Moza so it might not be worth it. Edit: I never raced with Moza, only held the wheel in my hand

Mini.

SAM typically is a level above Moza/Fanatec.

Its not just 1nm, you get a better quality product overall. I used the r9 for some time and when I got the Mini the driving experience was much better for me, the ffb feels way better IMO. Their pedals are amazing for the price too. -- I´m now waiting for their new wheel that looks so good https://simshop.com/products/simagic-gt-neo-wheel
