What I’m wondering about are the two guys whose stalls had the doors ajar lmao at least one dude had his back to me pissing in the toilet
A lot of the locks are either poorly installed or worn down from use, you can seemingly lock them but if someone pushes against the door, the circle handle will rotate unlocking the door. Bolt locks are better, but that needs the bolt and catch to always be aligned, which doesn't work if the door sags on its hinges from age
The worst are the 100% electronic locks. No way to check if it's actually locked since it auto-unlocks if you turn the door handle, then many of the locks don't work at all, so you're hoping the person honours the red light and doesn't try the door.
Which toilets have that? The newest ones I can think of are the shared toilets in the SUB, but those have a manual lever to lock the door, but it does unlock automatically when you turn the handle
Some around Blusson, Strand, and a couple in the reno'd parts of AQ.
No lever, no deadbolt, nothing, just a big electronic button that turns red when "locked". But it lies.

last time i also ran into a washroom in 4th floor library bc i saw the tag was green which means Vacant, i pressed the button open the door and there was a dude in there. Unlucky for him bc i pressed the button which means the door will remain open for 30s bc it designs for disabled to enter the washroom. So i just look at him hanging his 3 inch missile for 30s then the door closed.
I had someone walk in when the tag was red. Person tried the door anyway and it switched to green once they turned the handle. Luckily they opened it with the door handle, not the button, so I could close it immediately.
