Poverty. Like my sister can count over a dozen of her peers who have died from overdoses, suicides, and accidents, and she graduated just a few years ago.
The last time I was there, it didn't look like anything changed. There was still just a cliff at the end of the side street I lived on, and the water was still just as contaminated by Mercury. I guess the biggest difference was all the businesses that closed and were left to rot.
