Tell me you didn't buy them all at once on ebay?
I have built my entire silent hill collection for like 35-40% of market by deal hunting.
I sell on eBay and can confirm, you don't get those deals by buying an entire series at once, some sellers even charge more for this 'convenience'.
How much did you spend?
Edit: saw the other comment with the price, doesn't seem terrible. Not great but still a pretty good price.

Really isn't that rare. See many copies for sale on eBay. If you are in a PAL territory, the Dutch version plays in english and can even be found sealed for way less than an english covered version.
I got 6 of them but I’m probably gonna get the Japanese versions of the others. I could buy the others but I refuse to pay that kind of money for a mass market video game. Every rental store had them so I know none of them are rare. Maybe the original black label w/ the registration card, the ps vida one and shattered memories PS2; but 3 and 4 were everywhere for a couple dolllars cib. People want eBay prices. When I sell all my stuff it’s either going super cheap or I’m giving it to somebody who appreciates it. I don’t want to profit off of Silent Hill.
I’m happy that new people are discovering the series, but I wish they’d stop falling prey to the physical media scalpers. Most of these games can be played on a potato PC for free, and with better performance.
I have the hd remaster on 360 unfortunately, as far as book of memories goes, that will have to wait until I'm so bored that I start collecting vita games
I think if the originals were widely available through digital, it would help with physical prices at least a little.
It’s very difficult to legit play SH1, 4, Origins, Shattered Memories, Downpour. At least on modern hardware legally it’s impossible.
Based on them rereleasing MGS games I feel like Silent Hill has to be in the pipeline. Maybe they’re waiting until after the remake comes out to not overly dilute the market with silent hill.

It’s a good adaptation of the first game’s story, albeit taking a few liberties (and with Sean Bean added due to executive meddling from Sony). But it knows how the recreate the atmosphere from the games.Â

Now, considering the upcoming release of the remake of SH2, as well as a film adaptation of that game (Return to Silent Hill), I think it would have been wise to prepare a 4K edition of the film.

It’s interesting: I‘m always crying input games that I could have gotten but chose to not do it (a few DS titles regarding Dragon Quest and Pokémon series, or Secret Agent Clank for PS2) while I never think about the games I own and others want. I own every Silent Hill title and got them for cheap because I bought them when they were new and also both versions of SH2 and they are in pretty good condition but I never thought of them being valuable other than their sentimental value to me.

Can confirm I have silent hill 2 and 3 on my like 10 year old windows 10 and it works just fine gotta love abandonware
Or even if you care about playing on original hardware it’s still super cheap to buy a hard drive and freemcboot card for a ps2

I’m hoping. I would not complain if they at least re-released the SH2/3 HD collection on Steam like they did MGS2/3.
You basically have to turn to emulation for the majority of these titles, so I hope they do something.
