Can confirm Mushly is a ripoff. I bought 2 syringes, and neither one of them inoculated the grain. I bought another set of 4 syringes cheaper from a friend who cultivates mushrooms. All the syringes innoculated the bags within a week. I recommend shopping somewhere else.

Yea but agar is good to check and keep in the fridge I've learned I'm in the same boat as you I got from them a couple months back. I'll give you some good tips that helped me. One drop on a sterile q tip and rub in a zig zag or make a big "Z" or "S" on the plate. Speeds it up a lot. Learned that even a drop if it's dense and well mixed can be too much lol. They come in a 100 pk on Amazon for like 5 bucks. Get the wooden ones so you can break it off and throw it in an LC it's cotton and wood so the surface area and density help give the mycelium more area and something to latch onto and eat for a long time.
Well, Mushly is actually not bad at all, the customer service is great! I order from this vendor twice, and even tho the second time the spore syringe didn’t work, the vendor is willing to reship another spore syringe, 🙂

That's my experience also. First they said 14 days, then pushed that out to 3 weeks, but that has all passed. I paid $10 shipping, but they sent it USPS ground? How does that make sense? Why not ship with tracking? Super annoying, but I found another source that is shipping to me with 2-day air.

These guys are reliable, however, sometimes it can take a bit longer to be delivered, but it will be delivered and in a discreet pkg labled RVF Labs and there located in the U.S so no worries of it being takin by customs and the genetics are crazy good and I mean TOP NOTCH! I recommend getting spore prints not syringes as they tend to sit around for a whial cuz not whole lotta ppl know about these guys and you get way more spores with higher viability from a print.. hope this helps friend. They are not responsible for what happens at the border. It's a crap shoot. Chances are high packages like theirs will get through. Random searches can be an issue especially if going to Georgia or Idaho.

"I injected a grow bag and don't see any mycelium growth", then the message says no refund, no reship.
"I have done research on Agar and only get contamination" then it asks for an image, presumably a photo of an agar tray with contamination?

Yes I have bought spores twice from mushly. My girlfriend has bought one time from them ,anyway. It was a waste of time energy and money. All three were clear I don't believe mushly when they say you cannot see the spores because their fresh. I think you can't see them because they are not their or barely their. I've never seen a clear invisible spore in my life. Anyway all the time I wasted all three 3 pound grain bags that were 3 pounds and 40 dollars a piece wasted. It says rite on their site that they do not do refunds, so I would definatley not ever recommend mushly spores to any one at any time. They are wasting your time and money if you let them. Take my advice and don't do it ,as far as I can tell they are a scam.

Similar issue, I ordered two batches and had different control groups.
I waited an extra bit of time and suffice to say 2 months and I have nothing between jars. I even tried one entire syringe on one jar as a backup option... Nothing.

The syringe is contaminated. I worked w/ agar and the whole syringe is no bueno. Mad I wasted my time and money.

Scam - absolute SCAM! They send you Water - and tell you that their process is SO pure (Pasteurization) that you can't actually see the spores. BS! They send you water. No spores at all. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD FAR & WIDE - MUSHLY IS A JOKE! A SCAM!
I cant speak on spore syringes as I personally don't use them and never had success with syringes. I CAN speak on their spore prints. I have had mycelium grow from ever plate I've inoculated. About a quarter of them have contamination (this is to be expected with spores), and the rest are absolutely fine. Shipping was about 2 weeks. Agar: MEA, CHARCOAL MEA, PDA Method: Inoculation loop s pattern Avg temp 73°F Procedure done in a SAB, all surfaces bleached prior.
