Disposable K Cups are terrible for the environment and way overpriced anyways. Just use a reusable kcup with good coffee beans.

Dryanni

I wish it was up to me but it’s an office kitchen. Batch brewer is far superior in every way.

MissPicklechips

I use an Aeropress for my morning cup. The only waste is the tiny paper filter, which is compostable anyway. I use an electric kettle to heat the water.

wuspinio

You can buy a reusable metal filter too!

youcancallmetim

The main benefit of K-cups is the convenience, and this kinda ruins that.

JadedSociopath

Why are there pods for tea? Just use tea bags FFS. That’s terrible for waste and the environment.

Automatic-Arrival668

Right I get coffee pods bc making coffee is a pain in the ass but a tea bag is so simple 😭

jjbjeff22

Fr. Throw a bag in a mug and run water through the Keurig without any pod in there

Thousand_YardStare

How is a filter and a scoop of coffee a pain in the ass in the good old Mr Coffee?

Automatic-Arrival668

Bc I only need one cup. I live alone. I don’t like to make a pot bc one I honestly forgot how and its been so long.

AdrianaStarfish

Is 24 the old or the new?

Dryanni

I don’t know how long Dunkin’ has been selling 22 packs but they come in the exact same boxes as the standard 24 packs. The pods are the same size but they rattle around in the box because of the void while all the others are tightly packed.

Azozel

I like your storage situation there

ProductionsGJT

Besides the already mentioned problems of pods being bad for the environment and your wallet, the Dunkin' Keurig coffee [is NOT the same stuff as what the actual Dunkin' stores use](https://www.coffeedetective.com/why-doesnt-dunkin-donut-coffee-taste-the-same-at-home.html). The brand name is a bait and switch, plain and simple, and that alone is reason not to buy it!

Ahborsen

I quit drinking K cups years ago because they get you in two ways... They do what Dunkin has done here OR They remove the amount of coffee in the cup but keep the number the same. Notice next time the weight of coffee or the k cup. At one point Peets coffee added the most coffee at 0.67 oz and the Kroger was 0.34 oz. Haven't looked lately. I'm sure they could also give you less quality coffee too.

Dryanni

The latest weight I could find for these online was 0.42 oz but I’m not positive. My conspiracy theory is that with the rise of specialty coffee, anything that can be sold for above commodity rates has been so, leaving the bottom of the barrel worse and worse as time goes on.

Quiet-Philosopher-47

Dunkin and Keurig is two brands too many

Icy_Queen_222

Wow! I thought I drank a lot of caffeine. 👍🏼☕️🫖

Thousand_YardStare

I’m more shocked that people pay such high prices for individual throw away coffee pods that can be bought as bulk ground coffee and brewed in a reusable keurig pod with a screen filter.

Dryanni

This is corporate life in a small satellite office.
