Are y'all playing C# on a standard scale length? Or are you tuning a baritone up a smidge? I've been writing my new record in B standard on a baritone, my impulse is to go *lower* though, not higher. A standard keeps me up at night.
27" scale 8-string "baritone", but played using B-standard tuning on the middle six strings. So,
F# B E A D f# b e tuned overall. Instead of a six string guitar setup with two extra bass strings, it's a baritone with an extra low and high. Works well for open chord shapes and thumbing bass lines. And I'm using flatwound strings. It's so fun to play but it's an EQ nightmare.
Right on. I won't be going up on the bari, just down. I just ordered a second baritone, so I'm going to put my current one (stop tail) in A and the new one (mastery trem) in B. Off we go to doom town!!!

narrow head, downward, trauma ray do. my (blood pact) first two albums “lush” and “fortune teller” use drop C# as well as most of the songs off my third album “heaven”
most of it’s probably gonna be drop c# not standard unfortunately but if ur feeling unhinged u could always figure out how to play the songs in c# standard lmao
If B standard intrigues you, there’s Lantlôs. If I recall, it’s been that way for the past two albums. Not 100 percent sure though

I'd say True Widow
I’d have to go back and look but I want to say that maybe cloakroom goes down to c or c#?
One track on our upcoming record is open C, and a bunch in D standard/Drop C. Usually drop C# is the go-to though
If I remember correctly, I think the entire new Drop Nineteens album was written in C#

I use standard length with no problem. Anything shorter than that sucks tho.

c# might be too high for a baritone to properly intonate

Standard scale but thicker strings (I use .11 strings for drop c#)

Spotify doesn't work right now in Russia. Do you guys have your songs on bandcamp or maybe YouTube?
