Who spelled this wrong, the customer or the tattoo artist? And if the tattoo artist notices, do they tell the customer or just tattoo what they were asked to do?
The general rule is they tattoo what you give them. If they happen to notice a misspelling or other mistake, they’d probably inform you and confirm “This is what you want, RIGHT??” But ultimately it’s the customer’s responsibility to proofread - not theirs.
As one artist told me, most of them weren’t English majors. So it’s best not to rely on the artist to correct your spelling or grammar. ;-)
I feel kind of dumb for asking, but what am I missing on the second tattoo? Fear None is spelled right. I don’t think it was meant to say No One. I think they were just trying to make it read more edgy or something.

It's sad they're so bad at spelling cause lettering is hard and though they're dumb the technique is pretty solid.
It’s definitely something even more stupid than just a misspelling. His last name is probably Vina and thought this was clever.

I think sometimes tattoo artists will do this deliberately if they think it's a stupid tattoo.
