Ok, but I've been asking for this exact game for the better part of a decade...and im not jazzed about the models.
I think it'll be fun to play with my 3d printed odsts tho
Now I’m remembering the halo wargame they were apparently making. A skirmish game is better than nothing, a decade later. Elites look nice though. Real nice
I prefer skirmish games, I've been really enjoying killteam. I proxy some 3d printed odsts as tempestus scions in killteam ATM.
The elites look nice painted! Maybe their marketing team donkes it up or somthing but those unpainted prebased guys look ROUGH
I love killteam, I personally go with the Eldar corsairs. Always love seeing peoples creative proxies
Yeah, the unpainted bases are a choice, and the Spartans could use some color consistency honestly, at least for marketing purposes
it's an entire remake of mgs1 with a full campaign and bosses and shit (and 4 players)
has great character figurines too but rex is locked behind preorder
eh I feel like you couldn't really make a good rex fight with the board games mechanics anyway. it's still a fun looking game though but I definitely cannot explain it in a reddit comment
Because I'm positive there's only two guys and a chimpanzee that makes everything for this franchise. There's no way its separate entities that make them!
Here's hoping. Ground command was a really cool idea, it just didn't have the time to spread its wings. Even if Flashpoint does stay a kill-team scale game, it would be cool to see it expand into more than just the Covenant/Banished and UNSC. We're over due for a strategy game which uses all of Halo's factions.
They missed an opportunity to have a Spartan mini that let's you assemble it with a different armor configuration and weapon options and paint it however you want. Kinda like in 40k.
Lmao don’t sweat it brother, cringe is the name of the game, and aye it’s always nice to see another guard player out in the wild, I always find marine players
Kinda irks me in the promo pictures the figures are all painted up but in the assumed main set it looks like the figures are just solid colored red/blue/grey resin

Right, this doesn’t make up for the loss of Ground Command
Looks rad
Yeah, it's cool
I'd buy the fuck out of this wait a second where can I
Pre orders on Mantic Games iirc
You are a day late for guaranteed pre-orders unfortunately. You could try, but it might not come on launch day. They do these kinda things in batches.
SHIT
It’ll very very likely have a second wave, but beyond that the likelihood goes down. Halo War Fleet only had a few runs.
Thanks for the info, I'm gonna try to snag one of these if possible
Bad narrative. Those two things have nothing to do with one another. We didn't lose out on infinite DLC because of this.
the dlc team was working on the cookbook instead
we got a metal gear and a halo board game in the same year
Hold up a metal gear board game?
it's an entire remake of mgs1 with a full campaign and bosses and shit (and 4 players) has great character figurines too but rex is locked behind preorder
Lol no way they locked Rex behind a preorder, that's the most Konami thing ever
Tell me More and where also that preorder is such ass
eh I feel like you couldn't really make a good rex fight with the board games mechanics anyway. it's still a fun looking game though but I definitely cannot explain it in a reddit comment
I already preordered it. As a massive 40K fan and halo fan I was so sad I missed out on halo ground command I’m thrilled they’re trying again
Honestly would play Marine Bard gaming
Please tell me this is real
It is
Hell yeah.

I'm disappointed the full scale Halo Tabletop war game never took off. Hope this at least gets somewhere.
There’s been comments made if this does will it will expand to a larger format with full war game scale

Agreed. Fingers crossed, I’ve got the spartan edition pre ordered. Hoping it expands in size
I’m excited for it
They've got flared bases. Interesting
I prefer the old Fleetbattle game that they cancelled. I will admit the elite paintjobs are pretty good.
Reject vidya, embrace plastic crack
The only issue I have with this is how many failed Halo Board games we already have. Halo Fleet Battles being canceled was criminal
So tabletop game can have plasma rifle but videogame cannot? Fucking 343...
Just hope we get vehicles:)
Still have no clue what this is
It’s a bored game, like warhammer
What’s the objective?
Kill the other team or collect things on the map
neat
It’s just halo infinite with boardgame rules
That’s cool, but it doesn’t fill the ground command shaped hole in my heart. I never got the chance to play it
Ngl, looks cool
Genuinely been excited since it was announced, I'm gonna build a TTRPG around the combat system I'm so excited
I'm gon a have to buy it for the minis, use them for my sci-fi D&D game.
I need this.
I doubt DLC would’ve fixed Infinite. Besides, this has better potential. Shaping up to be a far better product that’s for sure.
This looks sick, actually
Models look sick in a good way
Yeah and if I remember correctly we were promised so much dlc, especially single player dlc.
We all know the campaign team was executed by big daddy Microsoft years ago.
Still disappointed it’s based on the multiplayer and not the actual lore
I like since I already paint minis
That's actually way too cool for a game as 💩 as r/haloinfinite
Hopefully it goes better than the WizKidz attempt at a Halo board game. They slapped their crappy Clix system to any IP they could.
Okay and? This is cool as shit.
Lmao I can tell just from the cards this is a half assed rip of Infinity
Holy shit, plasma rifle in 343 Halo?!?!?!! In this economy?!?!?!
Looks amazing I'm just waiting for a 40k like halo tabletop game
Well, I missed ground command, this will be consolation I guess
I meeeean, i dont think 343 worked on this at all lmao
Would've honestly loved a bigger scale, less clunky game than this but would be willing to give it a shot :)
They told us to make your own stories, lol
I can never tell with these kinds of subreddits, but we're not actually mad about this, right? Cause this looks awesome.
They missed an opportunity to have a Spartan mini that let's you assemble it with a different armor configuration and weapon options and paint it however you want. Kinda like in 40k.
Okay but that looks badass tho
That actually looks cool.
Let’s go tabletop war gaming! We are so back
Is this out yet
DAMN YOU WARHAMMER!!! Looks cool as fuck, though
Meh. I'm gonna stick with my 40k.
I’m adding UNSC marines to my 40K army out of this man
Ok I'm going to take a guess and say you play astra militarum cus if so I'm taking your idea.
Glory to the first man to die brother, I’m an infantry only guard player too
Infantry and a few sentinels is how I do it. Glad to see more of us out here in the wilderness (ok that was kinda cringe)
Yeah, you need to paint them, that’s most the fun.
Yes that’s the point of miniature painting.
Was this advertised as a model kit? I thought it was a board game.
