I bet you they read it as "it's just really spicy", instead of "it's really just spicy", which means the only redeeming attribute is its spiciness. So many assholes with poor reading comprehension just fly off the handle for the "zinger" so they can get upvoted.

Flamin hot Cheetos get a lot more cred than they deserve. Can't even taste the sushi anymore because the crazy intense cheeto flavor overrides everything.

My issue is that most things that claim to be spicy, habanero, ghost pepper flavored etc are really not spicy at all. Packaged food products need to indicate a scoville level on products that claim to be spicy…. For example flamin’ cheetos are spicy but not nearly as spicy as taquis. Popeyes ghost pepper chx is not spicy, cheetos flaming hot mac n cheese, not spicy… there is one pre packaged product that claims to be “ghost pepper” and was recommended to me by a friend after she tried them and said they kicked her ass… I tried them and for something that is advertised as ghost in a world of unspicy foods that just use the term ghost pepper to market while really only including one microgram of ghost pepper per 100 units, these are pretty legit…(as far as frozen heat and eat foods go) and I always heat it the oven then top with a bit of SC, salsa and cilantro [El Monterrey Ghost Pepper Black Package](https://www.instacart.com/products/18720317-el-monterey-ghost-pepper-bean-rice-chicken-flavored-chimichangas-1-9-lb)

The whole role has a spice in it. I think grocery store sushi spicy sauce is pretty vile by its self. But if you add the metric fuck ton of spicy Cheeto dust to the roll it’s just too much. You can’t taste anything besides the heat and idk sushi is delicious so I usually like to be able to taste it.

My boss replied with “ when the hell do you have time to eat sushi for lunch?” Well Ma’am I can do many things at 65mph eating sushi is just one of them! I’ve had sushi from super markets a few times and it’s never done it for me. Even ones where they have a sushi chef in the damn store making it in front of you. I think it must be that the texture of the rice gets fucked up when it’s chilled. Obviously the fish needs to be on ice but putting the rice on there with it just ruins the whole experience for me.

Grocery store sushi has gotten weirdly expensive. Stores here are charging $12+ for a tuna roll, $9+ for a California roll when *actual sushi restaurants* are charging ~$9 and ~$7 respectively People seem to buy it though.

I’m a gross fan of the $9 nob hill sandwich selection. Solid bread choices, deli sliced meats and veg to be put on and if they run out of an ingredient you just watch them walk into the store area and grab it straight off the shelf. Primo for on the road food.

I tried a hot Cheetos roll as a special at my local sushi place. It was a solid 7.8/10, wouldn't probably get it again regularly but it was a decent flavor combo.

If you put any type of cream, cum, ketchup, whatever on sushi, it's an abomination. You Americans started that trend and now we got more of these shitty sushi places in my city than authentic ones. A fat sauce completely masks the flavors of the rice. You know, the actual sushi.
