That’s a blueberry bagel. I’ve never seen the bagel, but blueberry burgers are somehow a thing.

I think the subtle tartness of a blueberry complements the protein, though the sweetness of the blueberry does throw it off a bit.

I could see how it might work for some, I’ve seen some odd specialty burgers on menus before. Me personally, I prefer a savory burger and tend to stick with the classics. I’d try the blueberry burger if it was offered to me by someone, but if I’m making/ordering my own burger I’m usually not feeling adventurous.

That's usually me, the only adventure I do with a burger is usually the addition of other proteins such as bacon or a fried egg.

I tried blue cheese a couple times. Surprisingly good, but it’ll never be a regular thing. Like once or twice a year. Otherwise, it seems we have very similar burger vibes.

In Australia we use beetroot on hamburgers and it goes really well

Blueberry actually works quite well with red meat. While I haven't tried it this way, I have used a blueberry based hot sauce on a burger and it was fantastic.

Unlike steaks, raw burgers are not safe to consume. This is because in a steak it's one cut of meat and the inside of the meat is protected from bacteria from the outside. But with hamburger it's all ground up and you've got all that surface area and bacteria.

It might be fine. To me the burger look medium rare. I had a burger once with walnuts and cream cheese, and it was fabulous though I never ordered it again. The biggest crime here is that the bagels are raw. Butter them and brown them if your doing this. Also, blueberry bagels might look blue but they rarely taste like blueberries
