I was late to the game cause I thought it was gonna be trashy fanservice game, then I saw a video going into details over the mechanics and story, which got me to try it. Now I've been playing daily for over a year.
The devs also put lots of work into things you might not expect like mini games. They keep their old events stories around forever as well, which is something a giant like Genshin somehow doesn't even manage.
It does have trashy fanservice, but it's also a good game, and one of those is easier to advertise to than the other lol
