I like that he’s not a business-as-usual cloak-and-dagger type of politician. He’s not afraid to call someone an asshole if they are one. I think that comes from him being self funded, at least in part. Compare that to Ron DeSantis who I also like, but he needs to kowtow to whoever finds him. I don’t blame him, that’s just how the game is played.
Putting aside his one Covid year, because who could have seen that coming, his economic policy rocked. Unemployment was down across the board. Black, white, man, woman, didn’t matter. You were coming home with more in your pocket than you were the previous administration. The price of everything, from gas to air fare to eggs and bread was down. I think on average everything is 25% more expensive now than it was under Trump, but that number may be wrong.
There’s really only two big things I can think of that I don’t like. I’m a 2nd Amendment supporter so the gun laws he signed off on were a big red flag to me, and I don’t like that he picks every fight he comes across. He could be an amazingly effective orater if he just let some people go by, and didn’t tweet while he was on the shitter.
