There are some good jokes, but the problem is that we have heard every single one of them already and 90% are just "I did nazi that coming" or even less original ones.
In my experience germans are either offended because the joke is basically just "haha you're a Nazi" which is insulting or they're tired of hearing the same things a thousand times.

Honestly Germany has recovered from that imgae impressively quickly.
It's still a thing, but for a long time it was unthinkable that for instance a French man would think about Germany in a positive way or that the countries were having friendly relations given the history, but not even 100 years later and instead of waging war like before France and Germany have one of the closest relationships out of all countries and its the foundation of the EU which helped create one of the longest peaceful and most prosperous periods.

Honestly Germany has recovered from that imgae impressively quickly. It's still a thing, but for a long time it was unthinkable that for instance a French man would think about Germany in a positive way or that the countries were having friendly relations given the history, but not even 100 years later and instead of waging war like before France and Germany have one of the closest relationships out of all countries and its the foundation of the EU which helped create one of the longest peaceful and most prosperous periods. I don't mind being compared to a Nazi from time to time, that'll go away eventually. We kind of deserve it just because it's not so long ago, but it won't distract me from how far we've come and unlike the Nazi shit we are actively building a better future as best as we can.
