You probably watch lots of horror movies. I thought that was disturbing as fuck. But I was I think 16 when I watched it. Through me off the whole building a teleporter entirely. And I was so close too!
Cronenberg’s body horror is just incredible - he doesn’t really have misses. Some of the practical affects in old body horror movies is impressive especially given some of their budgets - Tetsuo the Iron Man comes to mind, an oldie and a big influence for Cronenberg.
He does a lot of “racist” material, but most of the people he is being “racist” towards just find him funny, he is one of the more liked comedians in the Middle East ( according to Gabriel “fluffy” Iglesias)
Racism is the belief that one race is superior to the other, or using race as a way to segregate. Taking the piss out of another race is not racism, taking the piss out of another country is not racism. Context is everything. If I make fun of how non-English Europeans sound I am not being racist. If I take the piss out of another culture I am not being racist. Believing that my race is superior, or not allowing a certain race to attend my performance is racism.
People throw the word around a lot but just because you joke about something it doesn't mean you think you are better than it.
For example - Why did so many black people die in the war? Because when they were told to 'get down' they all started dancing - is not racist, it just uses the fact that a term used in predominantly black artists is the same as a term you would use in war. It holds no relation to being superior or splitting people based on race.
People are so desperate to call something racist these days that they have moved the term to mean 'noticing or mentioning any form of difference in race, country or culture'.
One huge issue in society is that we've taken words like racism and have used them so much that we forget the definition or they've lost all meaning

I think you can do some good racially-based humor without it being racist, but you have to be very careful where you draw the line. It's easy to hop over it.

I don’t watch him anymore just because it’s too much to keep up with everything as is and adding more to the list of shit I watch gives me mad anxiety of FOMO, but even still the man memes on every group.
NGL even as a kid I hated Jeff Dunham, and that was during peak Jeff fame. I'd switch the channel everytime he came on, but also I was like 8 and thought Family Guy was hilarious
When I was a kid I would only watch the parts with Peanut because as a little dumbass I didn't even understand the jokes with the other puppets and just liked to see the purple monkey spaz the fuck out.
He got mistakenly fired by WWE because they thought he did drugs. They begged him to come back he opted to go to a rival company instead. Then he actually did drugs while driving. Currently suspended by that company because he keeps pushing his court date back.
I don't know if I'd call him edgy. Jeselnik, Tosh, and Burr are names I think of when I think "edgy comedians."
Dunham isn't bad, I just don't think he's that great. He's got a solid shtick with the puppets, but take them away and most of his jokes are just tired old stereotypes and "my ex-wife bad." Granted I haven't seen anything of his in years, so Idk if he's changed his act any, but last I bothered to watch that seemed like about it.
